摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean water and to enhance hydrophilicity in rivers where the water storage amts. are larger than the inflow amts. of water and the water stagnates. SOLUTION: A moat 1 constituting part of a river is provided with a water channel 2 along this moat and the water channel 2 is provided with cleaning devices 3, 4, 5. The water channel 2 pumps up the water of the moat 1 from an intake port 2a on the downstream side of the moat 1 and releases the purified water from a release port 2b on the upstream side of the moat 1. Then, the water quality of the moat 1 is improved while the water is circulated between the moat 1 and the water channel 2. The improvement in the natural purification ability is made possible by stirring the water by the release. The cleaning devices 3, 4, 5 remove the nutrient salts, such as phosphorus and nitrogen in the water, and remove org. pollutants. Then, the natural cleaning power of the moat 1 is improved by the water channel 2 and the water is gradually while the water is circulated by the cleaning devices 3, 4, 5 of the water channel 2 and, therefore, the cleaning of the water of the moat 1 at a low cost is made possible.

Then, the nutrient salt concn. which is the cause for eutrophication is lowered and the eutrophication is prevented. The stirring of the water is executed by disposing fountains near the hydroponically cultured plants 1, by which the nutrient salt concn. is increased and the org. pollutants by algae and aerobic microorganisms are decreased.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a space having high hydrophilic properties which is full of nature so that small animals can live by forming an artificial shore in a water area such as river or the like surrounded by a bulkhead. SOLUTION: A first board body 2 and a second board body are disposed in upper and lower stages toward a river (moat) from a bulkhead 1. And side edges of the first board body 2 and second board body are formed into a wavelike shape in which protrusions 2a, 3a extending apart from a shore and recesses 2b, 3b retreating to the side of the shore are repeated. And the protrusion 3a of the second board body and the recess 2b of the first board body 2 are vertically superposed one over another. The first board body 2 is joined to the bulkhead 1 so that the side edge of the body 2 on the side of the moat can swing vertically. The body 2 is obliquely supported by a float and a nearly half portion thereof is disposed below the surface of the water to provide a shallow water in the shore. The second board body is disposed below the surface of the water to form a shoal. A vegetation is provided on the top surface of the body 2 to enable small animals to live.
