    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of compensating the horizontal deviation of the rear axle in a rear leaf spring type suspension vehicle easily and inexpensively.
      SOLUTION: Ring-shaped spacers 19 are provided through which a vehicle body side bush supporting axle 12 and a leaf spring side bush supporting axle 14 of a shackle 5 suspending rear end eye parts 1b, 2b of the rear leaf springs 1, 2 on a frame 3 are inserted. The spacers 19 are arranged between a vehicle body side boss part 17 and a shackle plate 10 or 11 opposing to the deviation direction of the rear axle 6 on the vehicle body side bush supporting axle 12, and between the rear end eyes 1b, 2b and the shackle plate 10 or 11 at the deviation direction side on the leaf spring side bush supporting axle 14 so as to change mounting positions of the rear end eye parts 1b, 2b on the vehicle body (frame 3).

The increase range is thus adjusted by an increase/decrease in the number of the spacers 20. At least one of the genuine silencers 12 on the front and rear sides is replaced with a thin silencer 30 to decrease the vehicle height on the rear side of the vehicle body 4. The spacer 20 is held between the thin silencer 30 and the helper leaf 2, and the decrease range is adjusted by the increase/decrease in the number of the spacers.
