A heat-transfer roller 22 is disposed in an upstream side with respect to the image forming unit 2. A timing of conveying sheets P1 and P2 are controlled such that a timing when the tip end of the sheet P2 conveyed by the conveying path 901, 902 and 903 reaches the heat-transfer roller 22 is made to delay with respect to a timing when the tip of the sheet P1 conveyed by the conveying path 905 reaches the heat-transfer roller 22.
