    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital single-lens reflex camera capable of confirming a bracketing effect by shifting an exposure condition after a sufficient period of time for image confirmation has passed in electronic preview operation during the setting of the bracketing and capable of photographing under a condition when there is an instruction of photographing during the image display best suited to a photographing intention out of various conditions for bracketing.
SOLUTION: When an electronic preview switch 28 is turned on, a CPU 21 calculates the exposure value by performing photometry and performs AE lock processing. The CPU 21 controls the mirror driving apparatus 22 and the main mirror 7 and the sub-mirror 12 are retreated to the upper part of a mirror box. Next, when it is determined that the bracketing has been set, a stop and an exposure time for proper exposure are set, and an image under the exposure condition is displayed on the display device 16 for a specified period of time. Likewise, the image is displayed in order of overexposure and underexposure for a specified period of time. A photographer confirms the image in bracketing mode and, when the photographer turns on a release SW regarding the confirmed image, the photographer can photograph the image with the exposure value.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera enabling a photographer to surely confirm the bracketing effect by sequentially switching exposure/image processing conditions every time the user operates a bracketing display switching operation member in an electronic preview operation when setting bracketing. SOLUTION: When an electronic preview switch 28 is turned on, the CPU 21 performs photometry and calculates the exposure value to perform AE locking processing. The CPU 21 controls a mirror driving device 22 to raise a main mirror 7 and a sub-mirror 12. Then, if judging that bracketing is set, the CPU 21 sets a diaphragm and an exposure time to obtain a proper exposure, and displays the image of this exposure condition on a display device 16 for a predetermined time. Only when a bracketing switching button 38 is pressed, the processing is shifted to the next image display of overexposure. Shifting to image display of underexposure is performed in the same way. The photographer can surely confirm the image use in each exposure condition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load device and power consumption control method for the device capable of rapidly connecting to a system after power recovery without having a power conditioner reset in the case of an instantaneous voltage drop.SOLUTION: A power supply voltage monitoring part 11 always monitors DC output voltage of a power conditioner having a DC power supply function. When the monitored DC output voltage becomes lower than a given value width, an instantaneous voltage drop determination part 12 confirms a reduction amount per unit time (gradient of reduction) of a voltage value of the DC output voltage, and determines that reduction in power supply voltage has been caused by an instantaneous voltage drop when confirming that the reduction amount is within an instantaneous voltage drop determination reference value range. When the instantaneous voltage drop determination part 12 determines that the instantaneous voltage drop has occurred, a control part 15 instructs a power consumption control part 16 to suppress power consumption, and the power consumption control part 16 performs control so as to make power consumption of a DC apparatus 17 reduce by an amount corresponding to the reduction amount of the DC output voltage.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute photographing by holding a camera in a hand wearing an outfit for cold weather under severe cold by respectively providing heaters and temperature sensors near a battery chamber and component parts causing malfunction in actuation when temperature is low, energizing the heater and controlling heat insulation. SOLUTION: The temperature sensor 1 and the heater 1 are arranged around the battery chamber of the camera. At the time of starting the camera and at every fixed time in the midst of starting the camera, the temperature is checked by the sensor 1. When the temperature is lower than the set temperature, the heater 1 is controlled to perform heating so that the temperature is raised to the temperature at which the performance of the battery is completely brought out. The temperature sensors 2 and 3 and the heaters 2 and 3 are arranged for the respective members constituting an obstacle when the temperature is low inside the camera. When the temperature of the respective members does not satisfy the set temperature, the heaters 2 and 3 are controlled to raise the temperature of the respective parts to the set temperature.
