    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook-and-loop fastener which has the adhesive strength equal to that of the conventional adhesives, consists of a pliable base fabric and facilitates garment manufacture, such as sewing, by applying an elastomer resin on the rear surface of the hook-and-loop fastener. SOLUTION: An adhesive layer (3) containing an elastomer resin is applied to the rear surface of the hook-and-loop fastener including engaging elements (1) consisting of erected fibers interwoven to the base fabric (2). The elastomer resin is thermoplastic elastomers of, for example, urethane, polyamide, polyester, polyolefin, etc. As an example, the margins to seam on both sides thereof are preferably ≥3 mm each and the width over the entire part is ≥9 mm. As a result, the hook-and-loop fastener can be made pliable and facilitates garment manufacture and since the entire part can be made finer in the width, the hook- and-loop fastener is easily usable as a substitute for slide fasteners for clothes.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of damaging by unnecessarily engaging with the other fiber product at unused time, and deteriorating the function of a hook surface fastener by fitting a waste thread at washing in a conventional hook surface fastener.
      SOLUTION: This hook surface fastener 3 is constituted by arranging a hook-shaped engaging element 7 between an upper surface 2 and an under surface 1 having a smooth surface so as to contact with the under surface 1. The hook surface fastener 3 is formed by integrally connecting one side 6 to at least one of the under surface 1 and the upper surface 2 via an elastic body 5. The hook surface fastener 3 is exposed from the upper surface 2 and the under surface 1, and engages with a loop surface fastener by pulling the free side 8. When releasing the hook surface fastener 3 by separating the hook surface fastener 3 from the loop surface fastener, the hook surface fastener 3 is housed in the upper surface 2 and the under surface 1 by elastic force. The sides of the upper surface 2 and the under surface 1 except for the free side 8 are sealed to the hook surface fastener 3, and these sides form an outer peripheral edge part 4.
