    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a rated load and prolong a life without making a dimension of outer shape large in a self-aligning bearing in which one end of a rotation shaft thermally expanding/shrinking in an axial direction is positioned in the axial direction. SOLUTION: The self-aligning bearing 4 positions/supports one end of the rotation shaft in the axial direction and permits flexure of the rotation shaft. The self-aligning bearing 4 is made to a constitution of a double row cylindrical roller bearing with an aligning ring. A group of cylindrical roller 13 of the first row are clamped and positioned by a radially inward flange 15 provided on an axial midway of an outer ring 11 of which an outer peripheral surface is made to a spherical shape and a flange 16A provided on one outer end of two inner rings 12A, 12B in the axial direction. A group of cylindrical roller 13 of the second row are clamped and positioned by the flange 15 of the outer ring 11 and a flange 16B provided on the other outer end of the two inner rings 12A, 12B in the axial direction. Thereby, a total effective contact length of the double row cylindrical rollers 13 and an inner diameter dimension of the outer ring 11 can be made as large as possible without making a width dimension and an outer diameter dimension of the outer ring 11 in the axial direction large.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a sealing device which can surely supplement grease over a wide area in a grease sealed space while allowing the discharge of the grease in supplementing the grease.
      SOLUTION: In an inner seal 2 of the sealing device 1, a through hole 28 for grease discharge is formed in the middle in the upper radial direction of an annular plate 24 of an annular core metal 21. By this, when supplementing the grease to a target to be sealed, new grease to be poured is sequentially retained from the lower part of the target to be sealed and old grease is discharged sequentially from the upper part of the sealing device 1, and the new grease and the old grease can be easily replaced and the new grease easily reaches the wide area in the target to be sealed.
