    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing device using a circular space formed between an outer cylinder and a shaft body in an automatic transmission for a vehicle or various hydraulic devices for a hydraulic passage to be incorporated in the circular space to be fixed to the outer cylinder for supporting the shaft body, in which oil passage quantity can be securely limited.
      SOLUTION: A step wall 23 is provided in an outer circumference of the shaft body 2, and the shaft body is inserted into an outer cylinder 1. In the circular space 4 between the outer cylinder and the shaft body, a shell-shaped outer ring 5 of a roller bearing 3 is fixed to an inner circumferential surface of the outer cylinder. A seal ring 8 having a facing surface 81 of inner diameter smaller than diametric height of a wall surface of the step wall is provided to be axially movable. As the seal ring is tightly applied to an inner circumferential surface of a shell-shaped outer ring, it is moved in accordance with oil pressure in the circular space to apply the facing surface to the wall surface, thereby outflow of oil is limited.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing device to support a shaft body 2 to an outer cylinder 1 through a roller bearing 3, in which torque increase can be restricted or prevented while oil passage quantity in the bearing is limited in a case where oil pressure difference is generated between both sides in an axial direction of the roller bearing 3. SOLUTION: The shaft body 2 is formed to have a step having large and small outer diameter, and a wall surface 23 is provided in a diametric direction at a boundary between a large diameter outer circumferential surface 22 and a small diameter outer circumferential surface. A circular member 8 is applied to the wall surface 23 of the shaft body 2 based on the oil pressure difference between both sides in the axial direction of the roller bearing 3. Between an inner circumferential surface of a trunk body 81 of an outer ring 5 and one flange part 52, gaps h1-h5 to limit passage of oil from the higher oil pressure side toward the lower oil pressure side are formed. In this case, oil on the higher oil pressure side cannot flow along an outer circumferential surface of the shaft body 2 because the circular member 8 is abutted with the circumferential wall 23 of the shaft body 2, but it flows through the gaps h1-h5 only to the lower oil pressure side.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein there is a technology of suppressing heat generation at a roller bearing part to a low level and suppressing seizure of the roller bearing part by setting both the roughness of a rolling contact surface and a raceway surface of a roller to be predetermined values, but there is no technology of reducing the friction of the bearing part based on the roughness of the roller contact surface or the raceway surface in a cam follower of a rocker arm or the like.
      SOLUTION: The surface roughness of a rolling contact surface 15a which is an outer circumferential surface of each roller 15 of a rocker arm 1 is set to be lower than the surface roughness of an inner ring raceway surface 14b which is an outer circumferential surface of a shaft body 14. More specifically, the surface roughness of the rolling contact surface 15a of the roller 15 is set to be in a range of 0.008Ra-0.012Ra, and the surface roughness of the inner ring raceway surface 14b which is the outer circumferential surface of the shaft body 14 is set to be in a range of 0.040Ra-0.063Ra. As a result, the friction of the bearing part in the rocker arm is considerably reduced, the torque of a car engine is suppressed, and the fuel consumption is improved, accordingly.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure resistance to seizure on the guiding face of a cage 10 and to reduce or prevent an abnormal noise, in a needle roller bearing for a gear inner 3 interposed in an annular space between a rotational shaft 1 fitted to a transmission and a transmission gear 2 externally fitted to the rotational shaft 1 opposed to each other.
      SOLUTION: The cage 10 is guided by the inner diameter face of the transmission gear 2, and a circumscribed circle X that is circumscribed with the outer diameter portion of the cage 10 is set so as to oppose to the inner diameter face of the transmission gear 2 through an appropriate gap h. This makes it easier to maintain the the situation where the cage 10 rotates in accompany with the transmission gear 2 with the needle roller 11 pressed against the transmission gear 2 side, even if the transmission gear 2 is relatively rotating with respect to the rotational shaft 1 at a rotational speed exceeding a certain speed range. As a result, the occurrence of the resonance phenomena of the transmission gear 2 is suppressed, and abnormal noise as in the conventional examples is reduced or prevented.
