    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen separation membrane and its manufacturing method resolving problems of a little amount of hydrogen permeation of the conventional palladium-based dense separation membrane and hydrogen brittleness of a stainless steel support body at the same time.
      SOLUTION: In this hydrogen separation membrane manufactured by press-molding metal fine particles having hydrogen adsorbing characteristics, the metal fine particles are composed of first metal powder of 0.5-50 wt.% and second metal powder of 50-99.5 wt.% having relatively larger average particle sizes than the first metal powder. The hydrogen separation membrane manufacturing method comprises stages of: mixing the first metal powder of 0.5-50 wt.% with the second metal powder of 50-99.5 wt.% having relatively larger average particle sizes than the first metal powder; press-molding the mixed powder at a prescribed pressure; and burning the molded body in the atmosphere of hydrogen.
