    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent sensitivity characteristics and electric potential stability in the case of repeated use, causing no humidity memory, having small manufacturing variations and high manufacturing stability.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer containing at least a charge generating substance and a charge transport material on a conductive support, the charge generating substance is a pigment containing an adduct of titanylphthalocyanine and a diol compound having hydroxyl groups at each of two adjacent carbon atoms. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of producing a dispersion liquid by dispersing the charge generating substance in a dispersant in the presence of a binder resin, and applying the dispersion liquid. The SP value of the binder resin ranges from 10 to 12, and the SP value of the dispersant is 9.0 or less.
