The closing mechanism 45 includes heat insulators 44 and 50, and heat-insulating rotation rollers 46 and 48. The heat-shielding rotation rollers 46 and 48 are disposed in firm contact with each other so as to form a nip area. When a recording member is passed between the heat roller 22 and pressure roller 20, the heat-insulating rotation rollers 46 and 48 are rotated accompanying the rotations of the rollers 22 and 20.
