      SOLUTION: (2-Dimethylaminoethyl)ethyldimethylammonium bis(trifluoromethanesulfon)imide exhibiting liquid state at room temperature is produced by reacting tetramethylethylenediamine with ethyl bromide and reacting the obtained (2-dimethylaminoethyl)ethyldimethylammonium bromide with lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfon)imide in ion-exchanged water at room temperature.
