The engaging clip 9 is hooked at the upper edge part of a corner piece, and the engaging hook piece 10 is engaged with the lower edge of a lower channel. A tool engaging part 13 is formed onto the inner-surface side of basic plate 2, in order to engage the top edge of an assembly tool. The tool engaging part 13 is formed by integrally molding, attaching or welding the rubber 2 or plastic member 15 harder than the basic plate onto the inner- surface side of the basic plate 2.

    • PURPOSE:To make center seal rubber installation easy and prevent deformation from uneven fixing, by forming a rigid stay at least at the upper part of the center seal rubber, inside the seal lip, of a sashless car. CONSTITUTION:Inside 3b of the seal lip 3a of a center seal rubber 3, is formed a stay 5 made of a hard rubber or rigid resin etc. The stay 5 is installed with its tip 5a and the upper end 5c closely attached to the edge and the upper end of the inside 3b of the center seal rubber 3, and at the same time, with its base 5b held together with the center seal rubber at the fixing part 4 installed at the rear window panel 2. Therefore, the rigidity of the upper end and the top edge of the rubber 3 is improved, making these points possible to thinner and sharper, so that it can be easily inserted between the forward window panel 1 and the door weather strip 7, preventing deformation.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent water from entering a car chamber during washing of a car, by a method wherein, when a front door is closed, a space between the rear end of a front window glass and the securing part for mounting of a center seal rubber is sealed with a sublip. CONSTITUTION:A sublip 8 is, integrally with a seal surface 3a, formed to the side end of a securing part 2 for mounting of a seal surface 3a of a seal lip part 3. When, during closing of a front door, the back of the rear end of a front window glass 5 is brought into contact with the seal surface 3a to press the sublip, the sublip falls down and is forced into contact with the surface of the rear end of the front window glass 5. The sublip serves to seal a gap between the rear end of the front window glass 5 and the securing part 2 for mounting of a center seal rubber 1.
