CONSTITUTION:For instance, plasticized rubber is extruded from an extruder 2 via a head 4 to form the hollow inner rubber layer 10, and after it is cooled, an adhesive is applied on the outer surface of the inner rubber layer 10 and reinforcing threads 12 are wound thereon. The inner rubber layer 10 on which the reinforcing threads 12 have been wound is passed through a head 6 where plasticized rubber is extruded from an extruder 7 to form the cover rubber layer 14 thereby forming a green rubber hose 8 with the reinforcing threads therein. After the hose 8 is taken up by a take-up drum 18, the hollow inside is pressurized by a pressurized fluid (preferably air, water, hot water, etc. at a pressure of 5.0-7.0kg/cm for 3-4min), and then the drum on which the hose is taken up is introduced in an autoclave, where it is vulcanized directly with steam. EFFECT:Though the vulcanization is carried out directly using steam, the reinforcing threads would not be deteriorated by the heat and humidity.
