    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid unstable display in the vicinity of zero flow while directly controlling a display unit by a head part, as to an amplifier separate type flow sensor device equipped with the display unit even at the head part. SOLUTION: The head part 31 is equipped with a display control circuit 340 for outputting a signal for display by processing a detection signal from the flow sensor, and a first display unit 28b for performing prescribed display according to the output signal of the control circuit 340. A processor of an amplifier part causes a flow display unit to display a detected flow level obtained from a flow detection signal received from the head part 31 while sending out a display suppressing signal to the head part 31 in the case where the flow level is lower than a threshold. The control circuit 340 of the head part stops display on the display unit 28b on receiving the suppressing signal independently of output voltage of a differential amplification circuit 312 which is the detection signal from the flow sensor.       SOLUTION: When a control unit 31 of a photoelectric sensor 30 accepts an instruction to execute scaling display, a scaling adjustment ratio is calculated by assigning a received light quantity to a target value set to a value larger than a display upper limit value while executing the scaling display. In the received light quantity which is acquired afterward, the received light quantity after scaling is obtained based on the calculated scaling adjustment ratio, and when the received light quantity after the scaling becomes larger than the display upper limit value, the display upper limit value is displayed as a received light quantity after the scaling.
