摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat damage in a contact chip for applying arc welding in hybrid welding by which a part of a work preheated by a heating source such as a laser output device or the like is arc-welded.SOLUTION: A welding head 10 includes a contact chip 14 wherein a welding wire 12 for applying arc welding is fed to a part 20 of a work W preheated by a heating source from an opening at the tip thereof, and it is provided with a plume shielding plate 18 provided adjacent to the contact chip 14. The tip end 14a of the contact chip 14 is covered with the plume shielding plate 18 so as to prevent at least the tip end 14a thereof from being applied with a large amount of plume P resulted from heating of the work W by the heating source.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve welding distortion of a work without inverting the work and without swinging a burner left and right. SOLUTION: The position where a stiffener W2 is welded to a main plate W1 is detected and the central position of a stiffener is informed by plate thickness which is known beforehand. Burner interval is controlled by rotating a turntable 11 which supports two heating burners according to the plate thickness of the stiffener. A torch stand 12 is moved along the welding position (welding part) of the stiffener with respect to the main plate and both sides of the welding position is heated exactly from the back side by the two heating burners. The position of the burning from the back side is exactly determined and, by changing moving speed of the burner, the conditions for relieving the welding distortion is controlled in detail.

The electric current detecting circuit 13 is a circuit to be conducted when the current is running between the terminals 9, 10. The main body 2 carries out a timing action when the voltage from the detecting part 3 (a detected signal) is within a range decided beforehand.
