    • PURPOSE:To facilitate wiring by arranging a duct having a barrier wall for separating between power source wires and signal wires on the floor of a room in which terminal units are installed and replacing the general cover plate with a cover plate having a notch at the lead-in section to the terminal unit. CONSTITUTION:A terminal duct 1 for containing a power cable Ca1, a communication cable Ca2 and a telephone cable Ca3 while separating through barrier walls 1a is arranged on the floor face F in a room in which various OA units are installed. The duct 1 is arranged at the under side of the floor face F while being supported by a supporting board 9a and a supporting chip 9b fixed to a bolt 9c which is secured to the concrete slab S. The upper face of the duct 1 containing cables Ca1-Ca3 being led in from outdoor power board or terminal board is applied with a general dismountable cover plate 12 while supporting cover plates 13-15 having notches 13a or windows 14a, 15a are applied onto a section where the cables are led in to various OA units. By such arrangement, installation or extension work of OA units is facilitated and induction trouble between cables is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To compute electric energy for air conditioning, which is capable of coping sufficiently with the change of partitioning, by a method wherein electric energies for respective tenants are computed form the rate of operating time of respective tenants with respect to a total operating time and an air conditioning tariff to be paid by each tenant is computed individually by an operation control unit from the tariff per unit electric energy. CONSTITUTION:The operating times of tenants A, B are operated individually by the starting time and the finishing time of air conditioning, which are read into an operation control unit 5 based on the table of allotment of the indoor machines 2 of the tenants A, B while the operating times of the tenants A, B are summarized to compute a total operating time. The rates of operating times of the tenants A, B with respect to the total operating time are multiplied by the electric energies or so-called total electric energy required for respective indoor machines 1, 2 whereby respective electric energies for the tenant A and the tenant B are computed. When the electric energy is multiplied by the charge of electricity per unit electric energy, electric power tariffs to be paid by the tenant A and the tenant B are computed respectively and are printed out by a printing device, provided in the operation control unit 5, as the requested amount of tariff together with the tenant number and the name of the tenants.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a fan and consequently contrive to save energy by a method wherein the set blast temperature is lowered when a state, in which the room temperature is kept within the appropriate range by controlling the opening of each variable air volume (VAV) unit at the appropriate value during cooling operation, continues for a certain fixed period of time in an air conditioning system employing VAV units. CONSTITUTION:When the measured room temperature TR lies within the range TRV+ or -alpha2, where TRV is the target set temperature and alpha2 is the compensating value, or, in other words, the state, in which the openings of VAV units 3, 3'... are appropriately controlled within the range of 50-100% and the optimum control is performed, is realized and the above-mentioned state of temperature controlled appropriately continues for longer than a certain fixed period of time, the set blast temperature TC is lowered. The continuation of said state for the certain period of time is checked with a counter or judged by the number of starts of the counter beyond the predetermined value. If the condition of the continuation of said state happens to be not satisfied before said predetermined number of starts is reached, the number of starts is counted again from zero count. When the set blast temperature TC is lowered, the room temperature lowers a little and the VAV units 3, 3'... are closed a little. As a result, the pressure in a duct 2 rises and the rotational frequency of a fan 1c is lowered by a pressure sensor, which detects said pressure rise, resulting in contriving to save energy.
