    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved control method for rice false smut disease of rice plant, insufficient with a treating method using any conventional disease injury composition.SOLUTION: The control method for rice false smut disease of rice plant comprises applying a disease injury controlling composition at a timing other than 1-4 weeks before rice plant earing which timing is considered to be unexpectable of control effect, and, preferably, the control method for rice false smut disease of rice plant is characterized in that the application timing of the disease injury controlling composition is soon after rice planting to 50 days after the rice planting.
