      SOLUTION: The optical device has: the optical element which has a first light incidence/emitting surface; and a support which has a cylindrical portion where light is propagated in a through hole and is joined to the first light incidence/emitting surface on one end surface of the cylindrical portion with the cement to close the through hole, the one end surface of the cylindrical portion being disposed inside an outer circumferential portion of the first light incidence/emitting surface.
