    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide adsorptive material with low pressure loss and the function of a highly adsorptive dust filter by adhering active carbon particles with partly exposed surface to cloth of three dimensionally structured textile. SOLUTION: On the surface or the face of the inner tissue in contact with the atmpsphere of ehis material composed of a sheet of coarse three dimensionally structured textile, with furrows on the surface if necessary, a binder layer composed of a polymer based adhesive not containing a latex, emulsion or solvent is formed, then active carbon particles are adhered to this binding layer and are being kept in a condition as to expose their part of surfaces to atmosphere, so, it is an adsorptive material which also has a function of filtering. Or further, it is the adsorptive material when coatings of binder layers are formed on the sheet's surface above mentioned. Further more, a manufacturing process of the adsorptive material to let the sheet pass through a fluid layer of active carbon porticles for the particles to be adhered to the binder layer is also included to. A ratio of openings between adsorptive preparation particles is being so high and the particles are spread uniformly, and moreover, the surfaces of the particles are so kept exposed that speed and volume of the adhering are high and large which make this material suitable for filters of air conditioners for automobiles.

    • PURPOSE:To improve appearance and gloss, etc., of active carbon and to increase its commercial value by coloring the active carbon without impairing its adsorptivity by adhering a colorant to the active carbon using an adhesive emulsion. CONSTITUTION:A colorant (e.g., cuporous iodide, cupric phosphate) is dispersed in water, and an adhesive emulsion (e.g., suspension of a mixture of acrylonitrile/butadiene latex with CMC) is admixed therewith simultaneously. Then, the suspension is added to granular active carbon, and dried after stirring the mixture sufficiently. Thus, colored active carbon is obtd. By this method, the active carbon is colored without reducing the adsorptivity of the active carbon. Blackening of hand is not caused even if the active carbon is touched by hand. The product has beautiful appearance and high commercial value when it is used as deodorizing agent, adsorbent, etc.

    • PURPOSE:To raise the ability of deodorizing and reduce the pressure loss by forming such an air cleaning filter that powdery activated carbon is attached to the fabric in which stitches are of net shape and the stitching base fabric is coarse and thick double Russell cord. CONSTITUTION:Powdery activated carbon is dispersed in a binder, such as acrylonitrile-butadiene latex, to prepare dispersing liquid. The fabric in which the stitches are of net shape and stitching base fabric is thick double Russell cord is dipped in the dispersing liquid and then loosely squeezed and dried to attach the fine particles of activated carbon to the surface of fibers in the knit fabric. The air cleaning filter is formed of the knit fabric attached with the fine particles of activated carbon. The stitches of the knit fabric are of net shape, and the inner diameter of mesh is preferably 6-8mm considering the deodorizing performance and pressure loss. As for the activated carbon, it is preferable that the component under 300 mesh is about 90% and the average particle size is about 20mum.
