摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the bending strength of a reinforcing fiber-containing inorg. panel material by orienting a high density reinforcing fiber layer in the longitudinal direction of the panel material on one panel surface side and orienting a low density reinforcing fiber layer on the other panel surface side in the same way and orienting an intermediate reinforcing fiber layer between both layers freely or so as to cross the longitudinal direction of the panel material to integrate all of the layers. CONSTITUTION:In a panel material wherein reinforcing fibers 3 composed of glass or pulp are bonded to and integrated with an inorg. layer 4 consisting of an inorg. material such as cement, silica sand or fly ash and an inorg. material such as pearlite, a first reinforcing fiber layer 2A high in the density of the fibers 3 is oriented in the longitudinal direction of the panel material on one panel surface side and a second reinforcing fiber layer 2B low in the density of the fibers 3 is oriented in the same direction on the other panel surface side. The intermedite reinforcing fiber layer 2C between the first and second reinforcing fiber layers 2A, 2B is arranged so that the fibers 3 are oriented freely or oriented so as to cross the longitudinal direction of the panel material to be integrated with both layers 2A, 2B.

In addition, the travelling base 47 of a green sheet shape retaining means 30 continuous its downstream movement at this time point, resulting in still locating the tip part of the green sheet carried on the first belt conveyor 28 at the position corresponding to a relay part 52. As a result, the deformation such as the tear due to the difference between conveying speeds or the like does not develop in the green sheet.
