SOLUTION: This multi-row reaping combine harvester is composed by connecting mutual upper parts of the raising up devices 7 at left and right ends except an intermediate raising up device 7 in the three or more raising up devices 7 with an upper part connecting member 40 without having an internally installed space of a power distributing means to the respective raising up devices 7 and composing the upper part connecting member 40 of a member having a larger width in the front and rear directions than that in the direction along a claw rotating surface so as to detour a raising up passage in a part located on the upper side of the raising up passage formed between the mutual adjacent raising up devices 7 and intersect an extended surface 7L of the claw rotating surface of sites at the terminal end of a raising up stroke of the raising up claws 7e.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a furrow traveling apparatus capable of decreasing the frictional resistance of the ground and adjusting the wheel tread during traveling without using a separate actuator for extension and contraction by providing an extension and contraction driving means to extend and contract a wheel transmission shaft taking advantage of the rotational motion of the shaft. SOLUTION: This furrow traveling apparatus is provided with a pair of right and left wheel transmission shafts connected to an output shaft 12 of a transmission case 3 to transmit the rotational power, a pair of right and left driving wheels rotated by the transmission of the rotational power of the wheel transmission shaft and an extension and contraction means to adjust the wheel tread of the pair of driving wheels by extending and contracting at least one of the pair of wheel transmission shafts in lateral direction. The extension and contraction mechanism is provided with an extension and contraction driving means 57 to effect the extension and contraction of the wheel transmission shaft by converting the rotational power of the wheel transmission shaft into the extension and contraction power in axial direction. The wheel transmission shaft can be extended or contracted by the extension and contraction driving means under the rotation of the driving wheel by the rotation of the wheel transmission shaft.
