    • PURPOSE:To obtain the carrier for developing electrostatic charge images with which the initial characteristics are exhibited stably over a long period of time and which have excellent durability by forming a resin coating layer by a dry process and dispersing and incorporating a carbon fluoride into the resin coating layer. CONSTITUTION:The dry process is adopted as a coating means and the content ratio of the carbon fluoride in the resin coating layer is controlled to a specified range (0.5 to 45wt.%), by which the uniformity of the dispersion of the carbon fluoride in the resin coating layer is improved. Namely, the coating resin and the carbon fluoride exist as secondary flocs in the beginning of the stage for mixing and agitating of the core material particles and the coating material but the secondary flocs of the coating resin and the carbon fluoride are eventually disintegrated by the mechanical forces that the secondary flocs receive by the agitation in the process for forming the resin coating layer by sticking and including of these secondary flocs to and in the surface of the core material particles. The carbon fluoride is sufficiently uniformly dispersed and incorporated into the resin coating layer and the good copied images without generating the fogging are stably formed many times.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the formation of images having a high resolution, high image quality and high density by constituting the above developer of a toner formed of a toner consisting of colored particles formed by granulation and polymn. and a carrier having a specific flowability improving agent and a fluorine polymer-contg. layer. CONSTITUTION:The positive-chargeable toner consisting of the colored particles which are obtd. by allowing at least polymerizable monomers and coloring agents to coexist in an aq. medium and granulating and polymerizing the mixture and have 2 to 8mum average grain size is combined with the negative chargeable toner which has a resin coating layer consisting of the highly water- repellent fluorine polymer subjected to a hydrophobing treatment with a silane coupling agent on the surface and added with a negative chargeable flowability improving agent, such as colloidal silica, and has 20 to 80mum average grain size. The good triboelectristatic chargeability of the toner is stably exhibited over a long period of time in this way. The images having the excellent durability, the high resolution and high image quality as well as the high density are thus stably obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the stable formation of images having high image quality and high resolution many times by constituting the above developer of a toner formed by fixing a flowability improving agent having negative chargeability to the surface of colored particles obtd. by granulation and polymn. and a carrier having a fluorine-contained resin coating layer. CONSTITUTION:The toner is formed by fixing the flowability improving agent having the negative chargeability by repetitive impartation of mechanical impact forces to the surfaces of the colored particles which are obtd. by allowing at least polymerizable monomers and coloring agents to coexist in an aq. medium and granulating and polymerizing the mixture and have 2 to 8mum average grain size. Resin coating layers of a carrier consist of fluorinated alkylacrylate or fluorine-contained resin of methacrylate system polymer are formed on the surfaces of the core particles of the magnetic bodys, such as iron. The above- mentioned toner and carrier are mixed at an adequate ratio, by which the electrostatic charge image developer having positive chargeability applied to a photosensitive body having the negative chargeability is obtd. The high-quality images are thus stably formed many times.
