    • PURPOSE:To enable continuous and dynamic monitoring and facilitate the diagnosis of abnormalities, by sampling the wave form of feeding of a sheet at a prescribed rate to determine the difference between the wave form and a reference wave form to identify the excess of the difference over an allowable limit with an abnormality. CONSTITUTION:When a training button 8 is pressed after the starting of the feeding of a sheet in a set mode, the wave form of the feeding of the sheet is sampled at a rate set by a timer circuit 7 and the sampled wave form is stored in a random access memory 4. The stored wave form is set as a reference pattern for the following wave form of the feeding. The stored and the following wave forms are compared with each other. When the difference in command speed between the time series of both the wave forms has exceeded an allowable value, it is diagnosed as an abnormality and warning is given. The feeding of the sheet is thus continuously and dynamically monitored to facilitate the diagnosis of the abnormality.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the adjustment of velocity pattern, and to facilitate the alteration of the velocity pattern, by carrying out the setting process for the velocity pattern of the feed roll and the velocity change pattern with the aid of microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:The difference between the feedback pulse train PL2 and the velocity command pulse train PL1 is counted by the deviation counter 12 through the synchronous circuit 11, and is converted to the analog value by D/A 13; this analog value is inputted to the servo-amplifier 15 through the nonlinear amplifier 14. The velocity command pulse train PL1 is generated by the pulse distributer 16 which receives the clock pulse CL2. The pulse distributer 16 changes the distribution rate of the clock pulse CL2 according to the velocity control pattern signal inputted through the input and output port 17. The CPU20 stores position command information in the RAM19 through the input and output port 17 and the internal bus 21, and reads information of ROM18 and RAM19, and produces it as the velocity control pattern signal BP which is thereupon inputted to the pulse distributer 16 through the internal bus 21 and the input and output port 17.
