This signal is amplified by amplifier 2 and is given to servomotor 3 and then it is given to division table 5. For angle detector 6, an incremental type device is used, for example. It detects the rotational angle of table 5 in the resoluion of 1/ deg.C(C>1), and outputs one pulse for every 1/ deg. and gives it to device 1 as feedback, (C is the number obtained by dividing medium section M by 2.)

    • PURPOSE:To effectively prevent a work from bending by presseing a work rest against a work appropriately in accordance with pressing force of a grindstone. CONSTITUTION:A work rest 7 is provided with a supporting body 8 which is capable of shifting freely in the direction perpendicularly to the pressing direction and of supporing fixedly in the pressing direction. Pressure of 2 pressure chambers, located in the aforementioned pressing direction of a static pressure bearing which supports with its shaft a chuck holding a work, is detected by a pressure detecter. Control signals with polarity and magnitude corresponding to deviation of these detected signals are issued as outputs from an amplifier. On the basis of these control signals and by driving the aforementioned supporting body 8 with cylinders 17 and 19, the work rest 7 is shifted so that the aforementioned deviation becomes zero. And by applying to V-shape pressing section of the work rest 7 an appropriate pressure according to the pressing force of a grindstone in operation, a work being ground is prevented from bending. In this manner, a work can be ground with high accuracy.

    • PURPOSE:To control the position of a grinding wheel spindle after dressing, by determining a grinding wheel diameter after dressing with the signal of the position of the grinding wheel spindle at the time of dressing and the signal of the height of a test grinding work from the datum surface after dressing, and using the value of the diameter as a new wheel dimension datum. CONSTITUTION:A test grinding work 9 to be ground with a grinding wheel 5 which was finished dressing is placed on the base 2. A height detector 13, which detects the height of the ground surface of this test grinding work 9 from the base surface and outputs a signal corresponding to the height, is arranged on the base 2. A position detector 6, which detects the distance between the center of the grinding wheel 5 and the base surface and outputs a signal corresponding to the distance is provided, a wheel diameter after dressing is calculated by an arithmetic circuit 21 with the signals from the detectors 6 and 13, and a signal corresponding to the diameter is outputted to the control circuit 22 for the Y-axis of the grinder 1. By so doing, the control signal for the grinding wheel spindle is corrected, and works are ground accurately with the grinding wheel 5 after dressing.

After converting to Y' (theta)i with the adder 23, a signal is given to Y axis servo system 50 to control the Y axis motor 52.

    • PURPOSE:To perform accurate control, by comparing a command to be applied to a servo-system with a feedback value as to each quadrant and discriminating the phase deviation of the feedback value and priviously correcting the command on the basis of the result of the discrimination. CONSTITUTION:Various signals necessary for machining are generated by an axis command generator 4 and are applied to a correcting function generator 5. Signals are applied from the correcting function generator 5 to an X-axis servo- system 6 and a Y-axis servo-system 9. An X-direction feedback vaule Xo detected by a position detector 7 of the X-axis servosystem 7 is applied to a discriminator 16. A command Xi of the correcting function generator 5 and signals Q1-Q4 for the respective guadrants are also applied to the discriminator 16, which thereby detects the phase difference between the feedback value and the command. A Y-direction feedback value Yo detected by a position detector 11 of the Y-axis servosystem 9 is applied to a discriminator 17, which likewise detects the phase difference.
