摘要： PURPOSE:To recover Be from a Be-containing ore, in high yield and purity, by decomposing fine powder of the Be-containing ore with hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid, treating the decomposed liquid with a cation exchange resin, and eluting Be from the resin with hydrochloric acid. CONSTITUTION:A Be-containing ore such as beryl, chrysoberyl, etc. is finely pulverized and decomposed with hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid to obtain a decomposition liquid containing Be, Fe, Al, Na, K, etc. The liquid is passed through a cation exchange resin, and the above cations are all adsorbed to the resin. The separation of each cation is carried out e.g. with a 1N hydrochloric acid. In the above case, Be is separated at 3-8 CV, Na at 2-5 CV, K at 5-9 CV, Fe at 13-28 CV, and Al at 22-50 CV. Consequently, Be can be separated from the other ions and recovered by this process.

摘要： PURPOSE:To recover pure Ge from Ge-contg. rock in high yields by treating the finely ground Ge-rock with acids and alkalis, removing silicic acids and metallic hydroxides, subjecting the filtrate thereof to an ion exchange treatment then eluting Ge with an NaOH soln. CONSTITUTION:Nitric acid, hydrogen fluoride and sulfuric acid are added to finely ground weathered rock such as igneous rock contg. Ge and these are gently heated, then silicic acids are thoroughly removed. NaOH is added to such soln. to control pH to 7.0, and to precipitate hydroxides of such as iron and Al. The filtrate separated from such precipitates is passed through an anion exchange resin column of OH type or the like, whereby Ge is adsorbed. After the resin column is washed with distilled water, an aq. NaOH soln. is flowed to elute Ge. According to this method, Ge is recovered industrially with high purity and high yield from the Ge-contg. rock.

摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently separate U from U-contg. mudstone by converting finely pulverized U-contg. mudstone dissolved in acid into hydroxide with NH3 and dissolving the hydroxide in hydrochloric acid followed by treatment with an anion exchange resin, elution with hydrochloric acid of a predetermined concn., pH adjustment, addition of EDTA and treatment with a cation exchange resin. CONSTITUTION:Finely pulverized U-contg. mudstone is heat dissolved in acid or alkali carbonate, and hydroxide is precipitated with ammonia water dissolved in hydrochloric acid. After separating undissolved residue the soln. is treated with an anion exchange resin column, and Fe and U are eluted with 0.5N hydrochloric acid. This eluate is adjusted to pH 1.5-2.5 with NaOH, and EDTA is added to the eluate, which is then treated with a cation exchange resin column to allow U to be adsorbed on the resin. This U is eluted with 2N hydrochloric acid, and by adding ammonia water to the eluate U is precipitated. This precipitate is calcined to recover U as high purity U oxide in a high yeild.
