    • PURPOSE:To perform thermal adjustment of water in an outside tank automatically by adding the heated water with differnt flow-rate according to each divided part of the time for measurement of calorie when the heated water is added to the outside tank of the heat-insulation calorimeter provided with an inside tube and the outside tank. CONSTITUTION:The calorimeter, consisting of the inside tube 2 and the outside tank 1, detects the calorific value of a sample burnt in a pump 3 inserted in the inside tube 2 as the raised temperature of the water in the inside tube and raises subsequntly the temperature of water in the outside tank. Moreover, signlas of an inside-tube temperature detector 14 and an outside-tank temperature detector 15 are supplied to a temperature-adjusting deivce 21, and by the difference signal obtained therefrom, through the intermediary of a timer device 22, electromagnetic valves 12 and 12' provided in water-injecting pipes 11 and 11' which are connected with a vessel for the heated water 9 and whose discharge flow rate is different are controlled. Since the water of appropriate flow rate can be added in accordance with the divided time set beforehand by the timer 22, automatic thermal control of the water in the outside tank can be performed with high precision.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify measuring operation and improve measurement accuracy, by interlocking an outer vessel water temperature setting unit and a device water equivalent compensator with each other. CONSTITUTION:The rise in the temperature of water in an inner cylinder can be directly recorded as a calorific value in a calorimeter. An outer vessel water temperature setting unit 26 acts to set the water of an outer vessel at several prescribed temperatures. A device water equivalent compensator 24 is provided so that it is interlocked with the setting unit 26. The water equivalent of a device due to the temperature of measured water at the beginning of measurement is compensated by the unit 24 to change the temperature of the water in the inner cylinder into an accurate calorific value. The output of a temperature measuring unit is conducted to the compensator 24 so that a compensated output is recorded as the calorific value on a recorder 25.

CONSTITUTION:An inner tank water supply valve 14 for communicating an inner tank 2 and an outer tank 4 while an inner tank water temp. setting apparatus consisting of a heater 21, a temp. detector 18 and a temp. regulator 20 is provided in the inner tank 2 and used in combination with an existing outer tank water temp. setting apparatus. By allowing said inner tank water temp. setting apparatus to store a predetermined specific temp., the water in the inner tank 2 can be strictly set to a predetermined measuring temp. through an inner and outer tank temp. regulator 22. As a result, the variation in the water equivalency of the apparatus can be excluded and the rising temp. of the water in the inner tank can be recorded as an accurate heating value.

    • PURPOSE:To perform measurement readily and accurately by hermetically containing sample in an inflammable plastic vessel whose calorific value has beforehand been measured, letting the same burn in the state of vessel and measuring the calorific value of the entire part of the vessel. CONSTITUTION:After liquid sample is injected into an inflammable plastic vessel, its opening part is thermally fused with a heat sealer or the like to hermetically seal the entire part. The weight of the entire part thereof is measured and the quantity of the sample injected is calculated. Next, an electric heating wire is wound on the vessel filled with the sample and is inserted into the pump of an adiabatic calorimeter. Current is then supplied to the electric heating wire to let the vessel burn in heat state and the calorific value of the entire part is measured and the calorific value of the sample calculated. The vessel comprises superposing two sheets of inflammable plastic films, bonding the circumference thereof to a bag body, protruding the fuel injection part 2 in fine strip form from the upper part of the sample containing part 1 and opening the top end thereof. This opening part is beforehand made easier to be opened by making the film 3 of the superposed part longer than the other film 4. Thereby, the calofiric value may be executed readily and accurately.
