摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a composite having fine particles dispersed uniformly in its metallic base. by putting the same kind of metal in a semi-cmolten state as the coarse particles of a metal into a mixture of them and inorganic fine particles under pressure in prefaring of the composite of the metal and inorganic fine particles. CONSTITUTION:The homogeneous mixture of coarse particles 1 of a metal and dispersed fine particles 2 of graphite or the like is packed into a solid mold vessel, and then, after preheating of the mixture at a specific temperature, the same kind of molten metal as the particles 1 is put into the gaps of the packed layer under pressure with a hydraulic press or the like. The metal pushed by pressure goes into the gaps between particles in a semi-molten state, so that the inside of the mold is filled with the metal. As the metal is in a semi-molten state, it solidifies immediately after that, so that it dos no longer leak out of the mold. Therefore a pressure for pushing the molten metal continues to act sufficiently until the metal solidifies, serving such to bond the molten metal to particles 1 and 2. Therefore the molten metal 3 flows into the mixed layer of particles 1 and 2 and thus the gaps of the layer are filled with the molten metal 3. As the metal of particles 1 and the metal 3 are of the same kind, they are easily united into a body and boundaries between them disappear. Thus, the composite having particles 2 dispersed in its metal base is obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a homogenous composite body by adding a prescribed ratio of Ca to melt of metals of one or more kinds of Al, Mg, Sn, etc. and thickening the same by stirring then adding and dispersing ceramics thereto and homogenously mixing the molten metal and ceramics which are hard to mix intimately with each other. 摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a hybrid metal material with excellent mechanical strength for a short time by introducing the different kind metal molten under pressure into the voids of a metal particle aggregate. CONSTITUTION:The metal particle aggregate is filled in a mold or the like and preheated to a temp. lower than a solidification point of the molten metal to be poured. Subsequently, if the different kind metal molten is introduced under pressure by punch pressure, the said molten metal is easily permeated through voids between metal particles and, with the lapse of time, the alloying is advanced and a hybrid structure is formed. By this method, a metal material wherein the metal particles 1 are dispersed within a base metal 2 is obtained. If the processing such as the rolling, the extrusion is applied to this metal material, a laminate type hybrid metal material is obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a foamed Al alloy of excellent quality, by adding fine powder of a synthetic calcium silicate hydrate to a molten Al alloy whose viscosity is increased by blowing air thereinto. CONSTITUTION:Air is blown into a molten Al alloy to increase its viscosity to 3- 15 times. 3-20wt% of a synthetic calcium silicate hydrate (XCaO, YSiO2, ZH2O) with a grain diameter of 0.1-100mu is added to the molten alloy. The synthetic calcium silicate hydrate is easy to change into a carbonate. Therefore, a more effect can be produced if some calcium is changed into CaCO3 by an appropriate quantity of carbonating treatment after hydrothermal synthesis in an autoclave. The hydrate almost instantaneously releases its crystal water and CO2 in the molten material so that bubbles are present in the Al alloy when it is solidified. This results in providing a foamed Al alloy which has a porosity of 90% or more and small weight and excels in sound and impact absorption.
