    • PURPOSE:To obtain a boiling type heat transfer tube having the shape of a heat transfer surface which can be formed without necessitating a troublesome process and can improve a performance of heat transfer. CONSTITUTION:This boiling type heat transfer tube has cavity parts 3 of a prescribed pitch which are provided in a height of 0.27 to 0.70mm in a surface layer pat of the outer surface of the tube and extend in the circumferential direction of the tube or in a direction tilted from the circumferential direction of the tube, groove parts 5 of a prescribed pitch which are provided in the outer surface of the tube and extend in a direction intersecting the cavity parts, and hole parts 4 which are provided incontinuously in the outer surface of the tube on the upper side of the cavity parts 3 and make the cavity parts 3 communicate with outside, and these hole parts 4 have the total area of 2 to 40% of the area of the outer surface when a smooth tube of which the diameter is the maximum outside diameter of the tube is assumed. The groove parts 5 are continuous, while the hole parts 4 are provided on the upper side of the cavity parts 3 where the groove parts 5 do not exist.
