    • PURPOSE:To strip and float the titled inclusions stuck on tubular refractories having many aperture parts on the wall surface and to prevent the deterioration in the capturing power for the inclusions by disposing said refractories in the space in a tundish and rotating the refractories. CONSTITUTION:When molten steel is charged from a ladle into the tubular refractories 6 provided in the feed hole for molten steel of a tundish 1, the non- metallic inclusions in the molten steel 16 stick on the refractories 6 in the process of flowing out through many aperture parts 6a, whereby the primary removal is effected. Secondary removal is effected in the stage when the molten steel passes through the aperture part 6a-1 in the upper part of an insert nozzle 8, flows into the refractories 6 and flows to a nozzle 8. The refractories 6 stuck thereon with the non-metallic inclusions are rotated adequately in a specified direction by a motor M to apply centrifugal force to the stuck inclusions and to generate turning flow in the steel 16. The inclusions are thus stripped and floated so as to be captured in a flux 17.
