摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operating efficiency of a continuous kneader by suppressing an excess temperature rise of a material to be kneaded in association with a decrease in a treating amount as much as possible, and widening a range of the amount capable of being suitably kneaded at the same rotational speed of a rotor to a wider range. SOLUTION: In the continuous kneader comprising a chamber 2 having a supply port 13 at an upstream side end and a discharge port 15 at a downstream side end, and a rotor 4 having a feeder 18 of a material to be kneaded and a kneading unit 19 on an outer periphery and rotatably inserted into the chamber 2 in such a manner that the unit 19 has a sending blade 19A twisted in a direction for sending the material to the downstream side and a returning blade 19B disposed at the downstream side of the blade 19A and twisted in a direction for returning the material to the upstream side; a twisting angle of the blade 19B in a radial direction of the rotor is set to a smaller angle than that of the blade 19A in the radial direction of the rotor.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a treating capacity, while preventing the occurrence of such a state that in a continuous kneading and extruding machine for resin or the like, when the size of a device is increased or the number of revolutions of a rotor is increased in order to increase the processing capacity, vibrations generated by a vibration imparting frequency in proportion to a multiplicity of the number of rotor blades, and a characteristic vibration generated in the entirety of the device resonate, and in an extreme case, such resonance leads to the failure or damage to the device. SOLUTION: A characteristic vibration adjusting means 18 is provided between rotors 4, 5 connected to a reduction gear portion 1 and a rotary driving device 16 for transmitting a rotational driving force to this reduction gear portion 15. The characteristic vibration adjusting means 18 has at ends thereof joint portions 20, 21, and an operating shaft portion 22 is provided at an intermediate portion therebetween, and the operating shaft portion 22 may be replaced with one having a different shaft diameter, whereby the torsional rigidity can be changed depending on shaft diameters.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shape defect from generating even when a high MFR resin material is used, by whittling down the rotating resistance of a knife to water to curb a turbulence or a cavitation, and minimizing generation of a turbulence part to be churned by the knife as much as possible. SOLUTION: This underwater cut granulating device granulates a molten resin extruded into a water chamber from a die and cuts the resin with the help of a cutter which is rotated in such a state that the knife 7 is set opposite to the die. In addition, a chevron-shaped floating face 9 which guides a water flow into a direction in which it is drawn to the die, is formed on an oppositely directed face 7a to the face facing the die on the knife 7 of the cutter. In detail, the knife 7 is set to satisfy 150 deg.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of a kneaded material by maximally lessening a difference in the temperatures of the kneaded material of a discharge area in the rotor axial direction. SOLUTION: In a part (discharge area 27) corresponding to a discharge port 15 in a chamber 2 a means 29 for preventing a rotary flow is provided which prevents a kneaded material packed in an area between the inner face of the chamber 2 and the outer peripheral face of a rotor 4 from being entrained into the rotating direction of the rotor 4 following its rotation. The means 29 is preferably equipped with a wrapping member 28 for wrapping the outer peripheral face of the rotor 4 so that the outer peripheral face of the rotor 4 in the discharge area 27 does not come into contact with the kneaded material. In addition, more preferably a sealed cylinder part 25 is installed extending to the discharge area 27 side to use the sealed cylinder part 25 as the wrapping member 28. As a counterpart to the sealed cylinder part 25, a reverse threaded part 26 is formed extending to the discharge area 27 side.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a method of eliminating the gel contained in polymer wherein, after introduction of polymer into a barrel, the polymer is plasticized and melted at first efficiently to reduce the stress of a rotor and, after the kneading for plasticization and the melting, the temperature rise of the kneading product is decreased and the residence time thereof in the barrel is increased, and provide also a continuous kneader for performing the aforesaid operations. CONSTITUTION: A method of eliminating the gel contained in polymer comprises plasticizing and melting the polymer by a first rotor 20 having blades, subsequently kneading the polymer by a second rotor 26 lower in the count of blades than the first rotor, decreasing the temperature rise of the polymer, and increasing the volume of a kneading chamber and the residence time of polymer; and a continuous kneader comprises a rotor 17 provided with the first rotor 20 having the blades for plasticizing and melting the polymer, and the second rotor 26 lower in the count of the blades than the first rotor.

CONSTITUTION:A rotor 3 having a screw 7 is inserted to a cylinder 2 having a material supply port and a discharge port. The rotor 3 is provided with a kneading part 9 as an integral part of the rotor 3. Cavities 8 are formed in the kneading part 9. A cylindrical body 10 with through-holes 11 is fitted over the kneading part 9. The cylindrical body 10 is formed by combining split cylindrical bodies 12B, 12C which can be radially separated. The split cylindrical bodies 12B, 12C each can move relatively to the mixing part 9 in an axial direction.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a deformation such as a deflection or the like at a blade by inclining a raised part to become a connecting part of a rake surface and a mounting base of the blade so as to become a protrusion side of the blade from an edge of the blade to its back side on a surface of a cutter directed to a knife holder side of a knife. SOLUTION: A blade 15 of a knife 7 has a rake surface 17 having a rake angle toward a die 2 at an edge side of a rotating direction and a flat plate 18 of a rear side of the surface 17. And, an edge of the surface 17 is formed as a cutting edge 19. A raised port 20 of a connecting part of the surface 17 to a mounting bas 16 is formed by inclining at a predetermined angle θ toward a protruding direction of the blade 15 toward its back side 15a by obtaining a necessary length in a lengthwise direction of the edge 19 at the blade 15 at a surface of a knife 7 directed to a knife holder 6 side. As a result, the base 16 is fixed to the holder 6. Its deformation scarcely occurs. And, since the part 20 is inclined, a thick part is extended to reinforce its strength.
