A projection-like support bar 3 extending from the control bar of the hand sail 1 is inserted to the receiving tool of a belt with disc-like receiving tool 9 to improve the steering property and reduce the force of the arm. In sailing by use of the hand sail 1, the sail 1 is raised toward the windward to advance obliquely laterally in combination with the lift of its wing-shaped section.
