Therefore, after the arbitrary operation is performed after the interruption, the reproduction in the interactive mode is continued from this interrupted position.

After that, the user depresses the eject key, and the controller 14 causes the signal processing circuit 10 and a recording head 6 to record the UTOC information of the RAM 15 on the UTOC area of the MD-MO 1 before ejecting the cassette.

The latching is reset when the optical disk is raised.
