On the ther hand, the clogging of a nozzle is prevented by supplying the hot water to branch pipes 22A to C of oil mixture and nozzles N1 to N10 on the downstream side of the oil mixture shut-off valves, 24A to C through a bypass pipe 30 from the upstream side of the hot water main valve, shut-off 29. At this time, since the flow rate of the hot water is limited by chokes 51A to C installed on branch pipes 30A to C of a bypass, and supply pressures to the nozzles are decreased, the arrival of the injected hot water to a rolling roll can be avoided. In addition, the delay of the injection stop of the rolling mill lubricant can be made within one second by forming these valves, chokes, and pipe paths as an integrated block.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent peeling of a rubber roll during use by fitting a sleeve-like unvulcanized rubber on a roll core metal, pressing and vulcanizing the rubber in a die. SOLUTION: An unvulcanized rubber formed into a sleeve, namely, into a center cylinder is fitted on a roll core metal 2 in such a manner that the center axis of the cylinder coincides with the center axis of the roll core 2 and that the inner surface of the cylinder of the sleeve rubber 1 covers the outer surface of the roll core metal 2. Then the rubber is pressed and vulcanized by using a die press 3. Thereby, air trapped and remaining between the roll core metal 2 and the rubber 1 can be removed, which prevents peeling on the adhesion face between the roll core metal 2 and the rubber 1 when the rubber roll is used. Moreover, air remaining in the rubber can be removed by pressing and vulcanizing, which makes the rubber itself dense to have higher strength and prevents peeling in the rubber part when the roll is used. By vulcanizing in a die press, wear resistance of the rubber roll can be improved.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a supply device for the rolling mill lubricant of a rolling mill, by which stable oily rolling can be performed. CONSTITUTION: Rolling mill lubricant to be supplied through a rolling mill lubricant supply pipe path 18 by a precise gear pump 50 and high pressure hot water to be supplied from a high pressure hot water supply pipe path 54, are mixed by a mixer 14. When jetting this mixed fluid to a rolling roll from spray nozzles N1 to N10 through mixed fluid supply branch pipe paths 22A to 22C on which mixed fluid valves, shut-off 24A to 24C are mounted, a low pressure hot water supply main pipe path 58 branched from the high pressure hot water supply pipe path 54, is connected to low pressure hot water supply branch pipe paths 62A to 62C through a choke 60. The supply device is constituted by connecting these low pressure hot water supply branch pipe paths 62A to 62C to the mixed fluid supply branch pipe paths 22A to 22C on the downstream side of the mixed fluid valves, shut-off 24A to 24C through low pressure hot water check valves 64A to 64C. A mechanism by which low pressure hot water with prescribed pressure is supplied to a spray nozzle header group when the rolling mill lubricant is not jetted, is set. Therefore, even when the rolling mill lubricant leaks, it does not attach to a rolling roll, and the clogging of the spray nozzle can be prevented.
