摘要： PURPOSE:To double the efficiency of sludge collection by moving a cable back and forth to cause a sludge collector plate to repeat forward and backward movement. CONSTITUTION:Liquid to be treated is supplied from the inlet 1 into the square type water tank 2. Sludge falls naturally and settles on the bottom of the tank 2. The sludge collect plate 3 accumulates the settled sludge into the slude pits 12 at both sides. The sludge collect plate 3 is hanged by chain 4 from the running truck 5 to about the bottom of the water tank 2. The running truck 5 is driven by the wire rope 6 and endless rope winder 7 and moues on the rails 8 which extends on the surface of water in the longitudinal direction of the tank 2. The truck 5 repeats forward and backward motion. Relating to this motion, sludge is collected by the front and back faces of the collect plate and accumulated in the sludge pits 12. The sludge is discharged by sludge pump 9 to another treatment system; the treated water is overflowed into an overflow tank 10.

摘要： PURPOSE:To effect uniform gas flow and uniform cooling of sintered ore so that its latent heat is effectively recovered by a method wherein sintered ore selected to have particles size higher than a specified value is brought into contact with gas in counterflow manner in a vertical cooler. CONSTITUTION:A sintered ore is discharged from a sintering machine 1 and is handled by a sieve 4 so that sintered ore with particles size less than 4mm. is removed. The sintered ore having particles size more than 4mm. is accepted by the sieve 4 and is charged into a vertical cooler 3 so that it forms layers in the cooler 3. A gas guided into the cooler through a blower 7 is brought into contact with these layers in countercurrent manner so that the uniform gas flow is formed and thereby the sintered ore is uniformly cooled. Said procedure eliminates remarkable difference berween the temperatures of the gas and the sintered ore at the outlet of the cooler 3 and results in an effective heat recovery.

摘要： PURPOSE:To control cooling capacity by a cooling roll, extending over a wide range, by increasing or decreasing a contact area of a cooling medium which is made to flow to the inside of the cooling roll, to a non-heat-insulated part formed at intervals on the inside surface of the cooling roll. CONSTITUTION:On the inside circumferential surface of a drum part 12 of a cooling roll 11 for cooling a metallic strip 1 by means of contact, plural heat insulating bodies 15 are embedded at almost equally distributed parts in the circumferential direction, and a heat-insulated part and a non-heat-insurated part are formed alternately. In said drum part 12, an adjusting roll 21 is idle-installed so as to be capable of relative rotation, and on the outside circumferential surface of its drum part 12, plural heat insulating bodies 24 are placed almost equally in the circumferential direction so that they can be opposed to said heat insulating bodies 15, and between adjacent heat insulating bodies 24, a refrigerant passage 25 is formed. Said cooling roll 11 and adjusting roll 21 are constituted so that not only a synchronizing rotation can be executed but also an asynchronous rotation can be executed, superposition of said heat insulating bodies is adjusted suitably between 0-100%, and the quantity of heat passing through to a refrigerant side from the strip 1 side of the cooling roll 11 is controlled.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide high-temperature air for use in a sintering machine without the use of external fuel such as heavy oil by method wherein sintered ore is charged from the top of a vertical cooler and is brought into contact with air in countercurrent manner which is charged from the bottom of the cooler. CONSTITUTION:Sintered ore 3 at 550-900 deg.C discharged from a sintering machine 1 is charged into a vertical cooler 2 via a crusher 4. Air is sent into from the bottom of the cooler 2 to countercurrently contact the sintered ore 3 thereby to obtain high- temperature air of 450-650 deg. from the top of the cooler 2. The high-temperature air is guided into the sintering machine 7 and is used as the air for the sintering machine. The high-temperatured air is not reduced in oxygen concentration, accordingly, it accelerates sintering action and enhances the yield of sintering, thereby enabling to decrease the consumption of coke ratio because the insufficient heat is supplemented satisfactorily.
