摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the repairing material for the brick in the carbonization chamber of the coke oven, which is used at the time of repairing a space due to the difference between thermal expansion coefficients of a metallic part of an oven entrance and refractory brick in a carbonization chamber of a coke oven, surface deterioration of the refractory brick due to its thermal history or wear, a through-hole in the refractory brick, or the like, and has high adhesiveness and exhibits an excellent repairing effect over a long period and also to provide the repairing method using the same. SOLUTION: This repairing material is a blend comprising: (a) 100 pts.wt. of mortar; (b) 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. of a powdery component consisting of 70 to 100 wt.% of at least one powdery metal compound selected from compounds of Co, Ni and Al and 0 to 30 wt.% of at least one powdery metal compound selected from compounds of Ca, Mg, Zn, Sr, Ba, Fe, V, Pb, Cu and Ti; and (c) 2 to 50 pts.wt. of a liquid component consisting of 1 to 30 wt.% of SiO2 , 3 to 34 wt.% of Na2 O and/or K2 O, 1.5 to 12 wt.% of B2 O3 , 0.3 to 4 wt.% of P2 O5 and the balance of water. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the using term of a brick till being demolished and wasted by forming the contacting parts of new bricks at a poured molten iron padding portion with monolithic refractory in the longitudinal direction of a torpedo ladle as the structure of teeth of a comb. SOLUTION: This repairing method is the one, with which the worn bricks at the poured molten iron padding portion are replaced with the new brickes, and on the worn bricks except this padding portion, the monolithic refractory is lined to a desired thickness. The structure of the teeth of the comb means to form the state in which the bricks and monolithic refractory are mutually inserted in the plane view at the contacting parts. The bricks 6 at the padding portion whose thickness become thin by using, are demolished and removed and replaced with the new bricks. At this time, the contacting parts 8 with the monolithic refractory in the longitudinal direction of the torpedo ladle are laid with the new bricks so as to form the structure of the teeth of the comb. As for the worn bricks except the padding portion, a part thereof is replaced with anchor bricks 10 and the monolithic refractory is lined on this portion. The pulling-up at the contacting parts of the new bricks with the monolithic refractory is prevented and the wearing speeds at the contacting parts are reduced. The lining work of the monolithic refractory is executed with a wet-spraying or a pouring method.

This castable refractory contains 0.5-8 wt.% alumina cement and as the other, specific quantities of SiC, artificial graphite, pitch, etc. After casting work, the core and the inside of the car are heated and the castable refractory is heated at 30-80 deg.C and cured for about 30-80 hrs. Thereafter, desirably, the core is removed and the castable refractory is heated to >=100 deg.C by using a burner, etc., to remove the moisture and dry the castable refractory.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry up an irregular refractory containing graphite being employed as the inner wall of a pig iron mixing vehicle without causing any explosive cracking by heating a mixture of irregular refractory with a gas of specified temperature in order to remove free water therefrom and then heating it directly with fire. SOLUTION: When an irregular refractory containing graphite is applied to the inner wall of a pig iron mixing vehicle, an irregular refractory material containing 3-20 wt.% of graphite and 0.5-8 wt.% of alumina cement is mixed, poured to a specified position, cured and then dried up by heating. In the heating/drying process, the poured irregular refractory is exposed at first to a gas of 400 deg.C or below, i.e., hot air, and dried. The poured molding material is heated above the boiling point of water and free water is removed therefrom. In a second stage heating/drying process, it is dried up by heating directly with fire from a burner, for example, in order to remove crystal water principally.
