    • PURPOSE:To control a pattern of an exciting current to a solenoid coil by a controller on the basis of comparison of a detected speed value with a target speed value, by detecting the actual transfer speed of a steel pipe with a detector. CONSTITUTION:In case of presetting a transfer speed of a steel pipe to within a range of 0.05-0.1m/sec, if an actual transfer speed increases exceeding this range, the speed is detected by a detector 24 to obtain a difference from a target speed value in a speed converter 25, on the basis of this compared signal, a controller 16 decreases a negtive feedback quantity to a power source side to increase an exciting current to solenoid coils 11 and perform brake control to a decreasing direction unitl the transfer speed reaches the target speed value. On the contrary, when the transfer speed decreases to not within said range by said electromagnetic brake, on the basis of then compared signal, the controller 16 inverts the operating direction of a thyristor 15 to demagnetize residual magnetism of the steel pipe by a prescribed reverse current and automatically release the electromagnetic brake.

    • PURPOSE:To inspect vacuum leakage at a connection part between the port of the internal wall of a vacuum container and the vacuum container easily and securely by blocking a part, communicating with the port of the internal wall, by a detachable lid and by evacuating the port in this state for the vacuum leakage inspection. CONSTITUTION:A port 6 is welded to a vacuum container 2 at a weld zone 8a. Further, a lid 10 is added to the internal wall part of the vacuum container 2 to block the opening part of the port 6, and welded to the vacuum container 2 at a weld zone 11. Then, the port 6 is sealed hermetically to the inside of the vacuum container 2 and a vacuum pump and a vacuum leakage inspecting apparatus are connected to a flange part 9 to evacuate the port 6, thereby inspecting vacuum leakage easily at the fitting part between the port 6 and vacuum container 2, i.e., the weld zone 8a. After the inspection, the lid 10 is removed at the weld zone 11 to complete the port 6 communicating with the inside of the vacuum container 2.

    • PURPOSE: To intensify suction force for ensuring tansfer of steel pipes in a device for transferring the steel pipes on an inclined rail with magnetic suction by providing two magnetizing coils in identical magnetic poles.
      CONSTITUTION: Two magnetizing coils 11a, 11b are arranged in main magnetic poles 12a disposed on a magnetic frame 13 to intensify magnetomotive force for a steel pipe transferring device. The upper surface of the magnetic pole 12 is slanted to a skid rail 1 so that steel pipes 10 are transferred from point A to point B by sequentially changing over magnetization while being sucked magnetically. Thus, while power consumption is doubled by disposing two magnetizing coils, magnetic suction is intensified by 7 times. Further, auxiliary magnetic poles 12b are arranged at both sides to supplement the suction force.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a control circuit as well as reduce noise effectively by providing a positive exciting coil wound around each iron core inside inner cell portion including a skid rail and also reverse exciting coil wound jointly around the inner cell portion. CONSTITUTION:On a magnetic rail 1 extending in the direction of turning of a steel pipe, a large number of inner cell iron cores 3 are provided in a row, and electric wires are wound around each iron core 3 to form a positive exciting coil 4. On these, an inner cell magnetic rail 5 is provided. The inner cell portion is wound with a reverse exciting coil 15 in a lump throughout its whole length, outer cell iron cores 6 are provided on the left and right sides of the inner cell iron core, and the outer cell rail 7 is provided in the face of the inner cell rail 5. when steel pipes are fed while turning, a control current consisting of a repetitive sequence of an exciting current of time T and a nonexciting current of time T2 (T1) is flowed in the positive exciting coil 4, while a low current is always flowed in the reverse exciting coil 15 reversely to the coil 14. When the coil 4 is in nonexciting state, residual magnetism in the steel pipe is erased by the coil 15.
