摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the iron loss of a grain-oriented silicon steel sheet by an industrially advantageous method. CONSTITUTION:A slab of a silicon steel which has a composition containing, by weight, 2.0-4.0% Si and further containing either or both of S and Se as inhibitor forming components is hot-rolled, cold-rolled once or cold-rolled twice or more while process-annealed between the cold rolling stages so as to be formed to the final sheet thickness, and subjected to decarbur-annealing, and then, the resulting sheet is subjected, after the application of a separation agent at annealing composed essentially of MgO to the surface of the steel sheet, to secondary recrystallization annealing and to purification annealing. At the time of producing a grain-oriented silicon steel sheet by a series of stages mentioned above, cold rolling is performed while allowing an oxide layer to be present on the surface of the steel sheet.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of the surface linear flaws to be generated at the ends of a rolled sheet product by adding a stage for rolling only the edge parts of a rolled stock by using rolls having the axes of rotation perpendicular to the progressing direction of the rolling stock and inclined with the sheet plane to a rolling stage consisting of hot vertical and horizontal rollings. CONSTITUTION:A hot rolling device is disposed with an edge part rolling device 12 between a vertical rolling mill 27 and a horizontal rolling mill 28. The device 12 is provided with four pieces of the rolls 13 for rolling the edge parts having the axes of rotation perpendicular to the progressing direction and inclined with the sheet plane. The stage for rolling only the edge parts of the material 10 to be rolled is thus added to the hot rolling stage for the material 10 consisting of the vertical rolling and horizontal rolling. The formation of the surface linear flaws to be generated at the sheet ends of the rolled product is thereby prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To stably obtain a silicon steel sheet good in magnetic properties and film properties by incorporating a specified amt. of oxygen into an annealing atmosphere in weak decarburization for the surface layer of a steel sheet in a cold rolling stage. CONSTITUTION:The stock of a grain oriented silicon steel sheet contg., by weight, 0.03 to 0.10% C, 2.5 to 4.5% Si, 0.02 to 0.10% Mn, 0.01 to 0.05% Al and 0.0040 to 0.0130% N is subjected to hot rolling. If required, it is subjected to hot rolled sheet annealing, is subjected to cold rolling for one time or the one including process annealing and is finished to regulate its sheet thickness into a final one. Successively, it is subjected to decarburization, primary recrystallization annealing and final finish annealing. At this time, in either hot rolled sheet annealing or process annealing, 0.1 to 10% oxygen is incorporated into an atmosphere subjected to surface layer weak decarburization to decarburize C by 0.006 to 0.030% in total. By partially removing C in the surface layer part of the steel sheet, its crystal structure is uniformized, by which high accumulation in the (110)[001] orientation in the texture of primary recrystallized ones can be obtd.
