The powdery ore is heated to a high temp. by solid-vapor heat exchange in a suspended state, captured with a cyclone 13 and charged into the fluidized bed 1 from a solid discharge hole 14.

Consequently, the ore melts and flows down, and is reduced to form molten metal 8 and molten slag 9 at the furnace bottom. 摘要： PURPOSE:To maintain the constant rate characteristic in the amt. of the powder to be blown by detecting the layer thickness level of the powder flow in a powder supply outlet piping and controlling the supplying rate of a carrier gas in accordance with the signal thereof. CONSTITUTION:A thermocouple 16 is installed in the outlet piping 7 of a device for supplying preliminarily sintered ore and the powder layer level in the piping 7 is continuously monitored. A regulating valve 19 is regulated via a transmission system 17 by an automatic control device 18 for the amt. of the carrier gas to decrease the amt. of the carrier gas when the temp. difference between the upper limit of the level at which the thermocouple 16 is inserted into the pipe and the target decreases to about 300-500 deg.C or below. The amt. of the carrier gas is increased when the above-mentioned temp. difference exceeds about 300-500 deg.C. The amt. of the powder to be blown is maintained constant by the above-mentioned method even if the temp. and density of the powder changes.

摘要： PURPOSE:To stably reduce powdery ore contg. metal oxide to molten metal, by blowing gas contg. oxygen into carbon solid reducing agent packed layer in a vertical reducing furnace, and charging powdery ore into a fluidized layer formed above it. CONSTITUTION:To the packed layer 4 of carbon solid reducing agent formed by supplying from a carbon material charging hole 9 into the vertical reducing furnace 6, a gas 2 contg. oxygen is blown from a tuyere 3 to burn it and maintain the layer 4 to a high temp. and generate reducing gas, and the fluidized layer 5 of carbon solid reducing agent is formed and maintained above it. The powdery ore 1 contg metal oxide and a flux 7 are charged together with the gas 2 into the layer 5. In this way, the ore 1 is heated to high temp., reduced by the layers 5 and 4, allowed to flow down to form a molten metal 10 at furnace bottom, and taken out from a tapping hole 12 together with a molten slag 11 formed simultaneously.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prereduce iron ore in the high degree of reduction without sintering it by blowing the fine powdery iron ore in a high-temp. fluidized layer due to a reducing gas contg. a nonviscous fluid medium. CONSTITUTION:A fluid medium consisting of the nonviscous fine powder such as carbon material and a refractory material is introduced in a cylindrical prereducing furnace 1 from a hopper 3 and simultaneously a reducing gas such as gaseous H2 is blown therein through the small holes of a gas dispersion plate from a reducing gas feeder 10, and a fluidized bed 8 which is >=700 deg.C and consists of the fluid medium and the reducing gas is formed in the inside of the furnace 1. The fine powdery iron ore is blown into the inside of the furnace from the hopper 3 by using gaseous N2 for the conveyance fed from a nozzle 4 through a nozzle 7 for blowing the powdery ore combining with a rotary main shaft of the stirring blades. The powdery iron ore is blown in flow velocity and below of the reducing gas incorporated in the furnace and a part of Fe2O3 is prereduced to Fe in a solid state with the high-temp. reducing gas and collected with a cyclone 14 without being sintered.
