摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent effectively the generation of meandering and heat buckling of a steel strip and to improve product quality in continuous annealing by adjusting the temp. at which the steel strip is led into and out of a horizontal type furnace. CONSTITUTION:The steel strip S is heated to some extent by passing through a preheating zone 21 and a low-temp. heating zone 22 in a continuous annealing installation for a cold-rolled steel sheet for deep drawing, etc. and is then introduced into a high-temp. heating and soaking zone 23 which is the horizontal type furnace where the steel strip is subjected to the prescribed heat treatment. The steel strip is in succession cooled down to a prescribed temp. by passing through the primary cooling zone 24 and is thereafter passed through the secondary cooling zone 25, overaging treatment zone 26 and tertiary cooling zone 27 of a vertical type furnace, by which prescribed material characteristics are given to the steel strip. The steel strip temp. on the inlet and outlet sides of the furnaces 23, 24 is controlled at about 780 deg.C to prevent the generation of the heat buckling. The passing speed is thereby increased and the productivity is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attain to avoidably utilize quantity of heat, by preheating purified air by incineration exhaust gas of an incinerator to use the same in drying and baking while incinerating evaporated solvent gas by said exhaust gas and fuel. CONSTITUTION:A large heat exchanger 32 is provided to the exhaust route 14A of incineration exhaust gas of an incinerator 8A and purified air supplied by a purified air supply blower 34 is heated by incineration exhaust gas through the heat exchanger 32 while the heated air is sent to a drying and baking oven 6A through purified air piping 36 and a blower 12A and the drying and baking of a paint is performed only by heated purified air. The oven exhaust gas containing evaporated solvent gas of the drying and baking oven 6A is sent to the incinerator 8A through oven exhaust gas piping 20A and a blower 22A and the solvent gas is stably burnt and incinerated by said exhaust gas and fuel 26 without requiring combustion air. By this method, the defect of a painted surface is eliminated and fuel can be conserved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To recover with high efficiency the exhaust heat in the manufacture for sponge iron by tunnel kiln by a method in which after the raw material for iron-powder in a moving truck is preheated, reduced and sintered, the exhaust air having been used for cooling is utilized as the air for combustion in said reducing and sintering stage. CONSTITUTION:The mixed raw mateial of iron powder raw material and reducing agent on a truck 2 is moved through a preheating zone 4, a reducing and sintering zone 6 and a cooling zone 8. In this process, the cooling air to cool the truck is blown into the cooling zone 8 from a fun 24. The temperature of the cooling air is elevated in the cooling zone 8 by heat-exchange between said air and the sintered raw material on the truck 2. A part of the combustion gas from the sintering zone 6 is mixed with this high temperature air, and then the cooled exhast gas at high temperature is taken out 28 from the cooling zone 8 and is used as the air for combustion in the sintering zone 6 by a fun 26. The temperature of the sintering zone 6 is detected by a thermometer 12 and is transferred to an arithmetic unit 14B. The fuel such as coke oven gas which is necessary to keep a predetermined temperature is controlled by a flow amount controller 16 and is supplied to a burner 20.

CONSTITUTION:Baffle plates 21 are disposed on both sides of a strip 1 to prevent the arrival of the downward jet flow 15' from a jet flow injector 14 at around a zinc bath surface 9. The plates 21 are mounted slidably in the guides 22 mounted to a flame wiper 7, and their positions are changed by rotating a handle 25 so that the plates are disposed on both sides. Then, the jet flow 15' is prevented from turning round to the other sides at both ends of the strip as shown by a dotted line and the spotlike zinc sticking in the edge parts of the nonplated surface of the strip 1 is prevented thoroughly.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the concentration of NoX exceedingly by a method wherein the quantity of inner air guided by an inner tube and the length of the inner tube guiding the inner air are fixed to special values and smooth two stage combustion is made in the radiant tube. CONSTITUTION:The combustion air sucked from an air inlet 5 by the suction pressure due to an exhaust gas suction flower 8 is supplied to a radiant tube burner 2 through a preheating chamber 4, an air duct 6. A hollow flow of fuel enveloping the inner air from the inner tube 15 is jetted from burning nozzles 12 of chambers 14 fixed to the points of a plurality of fuel gas ducts 11 connecting to a fuel gas supply pipe 1 and the outer air is jetted from the outer circumference of the chamber 14. In thus case, the ratio of the inner air to the total quantity of introduced air is adjusted at 35-80% and the primary combustion is carried out in the range where the momentum ratio of the fuel jet to the outer air jet is 0.4 or more. Then, the secondary combustion is carried out in the range where the length lAC of the inner tube 15 is 200mm. or more.

摘要： PURPOSE:To continuously anneal multiple kinds and multiple sizes of strips respectively under optimum conditions by controlling the line speed based on the minimum value out of the maximum capacity line speeds of each furnace calculated from relations. CONSTITUTION:The relations between the annealing conditions of each furnace constituting the continuous annealing equipment and strip characteristics as well as maximum capacity line speeds are beforehand obtained. The maximum capacity line speeds in the 1st through 3rd cooling zones 4-6 are automatically calculated with a process calculator by using these relations. The line speed is controlled based on the minimum value out of these maximum capacity line speeds, whereby the continuous annealing operation of multiple kinds and multiple sizes of strips 1 may be accomplished under optimum conditions.

Then speed lower limit LSmin2 for the second zone is determined by formula IV using the upper limit LSmax1 of the line speed of the first cooling zone calculated by formula III and a coefficient alpha selected previously by formula V. Subsequently, the total zone length l2 is determined by formula IV using the lower limit value. The lengths of the third cooling zone and the following zones are determined by repeating said calculation.
