    • PURPOSE:To enhance measuring accuracy by utilizing a plate-thickness converting expression based on mass-flow constant rule, using the measured values of the peripheral velocities of first and second rolls and preceding rates, and computing the plate thickness of the second roll. CONSTITUTION:Peripheral velocities VRA1 and VRA2 of an input-side roll 9A and a final-stage roll 9B are measured with pulse generators 7. Plate thicknesses H1 and Hout are measured with a gamma-ray thickness gage 5 and an X-ray thickness gage 6 which are attached in front of the roll 9A and at the rear of the roll 9B. Then, an output-side computed plate thickness value hout is obtained based on an actually measured value H1 in an output-end plate-thickness operator 21 by using the peripheral velocities VRA1 and VRA2 and preceding rates f1 and f2 of the rolls 9A and 9B and utilizing a converting expression based on a mass-flow constant rule. In a measured-plate-thickness-value evaluating device 22, the computed plate thickness value hout and an actually measured plate thickness value Hout are compared. When the difference is larger than a plate- thickness allowance error hout which is inputted from a setting device 1, an alarm signal is outputted to an upper process computer 23 as the abnormality of the apparatus.

    • PURPOSE:To detect loop length more accurately by totalizing the initial value of the loop length which is updated properly on the basis of the detection mark of a steel sheet and the difference in the extent of feeding between an inlet and an outlet side, and thus finding the loop length. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic unit 26 detects the detection mark on the steel sheet 20 by an inlet-side position detector 22, counts pulses generated by an inlet-side pulse generator 14 until the mark is detected by an outlet-side position detector 24, and multiplies the counted value by a roll diameter to calculate the loop length X0 in an acid cleaning tank 10. Simultaneously, pulses of inlet- side and outlet-side pulse generators 14 and 18 are counted for a certain time and the counted values are multiplied by the roll diameter to calculate the feed extents of inlet-side and outlet-side rolls 12 and 16; and the difference between them is added to said loop length X0 to find the loop length. Consequently, a slip between the steel sheet and a driving roll is considered, so the steel sheet loop length in the acid cleaning tank is detected more accurately.

    • PURPOSE: To efficiently, further, easily and exactly register materials such as documents or drawings by designating the storage position of information to be registered while hierarchically displaying them on a screen according to a procedure in the case of retrieving information. CONSTITUTION: First of all, the desired storage position of materials is retrieved by operating a mouse 12 of an operating part 13 and successively developing display pictures while observing pictures displayed on a display part 11. Next, when the mouse arrives at the desired picture to be stored, a fixing operating is performed so that a retrieving/registering mechanism part 14 automatically numbers key information corresponding to hierarchies up to a current time point from a retrieval route till then. Afterwards, the materials are read from a material input part 16 in the state of instructing the desired picture to be stored, and the read information is stored in a data storage part 15 while being linked with the key information numbered by the retrieving/registering mechanism part 14.
