    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the smooth circulating flow of molten steel, to prevent the wear of a refractory and to enable to execute proper hard blow by positioning the center axis of a vertical lance freely elevating/lowering in the range of the inner diameter of a circulating tube and executing oxygen top-blowing refractory. SOLUTION: An uptake tube 6 and a downtake tube 7 in a reduced pressure chamber 2 provided with a gas exhaust system 8 are dipped into the molten steel, and the oxygen-containing gas is top-blown onto the molten steel surface through the vertical lance 1 freely elevating/lowering and inserted from a top cover 3. In an RH degassing equipment, the center axis of the vertical lance 1 is positioned within the range of the inner diameter of the circulating tube and the oxygen-containing gas is ejected therefrom. By this method, the recessed part on the molten steel surface formed by the top-blowing is not formed at the positioned of a bottom part 10 of the degassing equipment and the smooth circulating flow of the molten steel is not obstructed and the wear of the refractory can be prevented. Further, plural opening holes 11 for inserting the vertical lance are arranged in the top cover 3, and it is desirable to suitably select the top-blowing position of the oxygen-containing gas according to the refining objective molten steel.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the hit accuracy of the temperature of molten steel to be tapped into a ladle by modifying the target temperature according to the fluctuation of the amount of the ferro alloy caused by the modification of the carbon concentration when the oxygen blowing control of the converter is executed by a dynamic control model. CONSTITUTION:Necessary amount of the oxygen is calculated to obtain a target temperature and a carbon concentration when the blowing is completed by using a dynamic control model, the oxygen blowing of the converter us executed, and then, the ferro alloy is added during the tapping operation from the converter into the ladle. In this oxygen blowing control method of the converter, when it is estimated that the temperature of the molten steel when the blowing is completed becomes lower than the target value with the calculated amount of oxygen blowing, the target carbon concentration is modified bit by bit downward. In addition, the required amount of the ferro alloy to be added is calculated according to this modification. The target temperature when the blowing is completed is modified based on the temperature decrease of the molten steel in the ladle due to the addition of this amount of ferro alloy. Then, the target carbon concentration is modified downward until this modified target temperature is obtained, and the oxygen blowing is executed. This constitution allows the target ladle temperature of the molten steel to be obtained in a constantly stable manner.

    • PURPOSE:To secure the accurate set steel tapping quantity at a low cost by executing blowing to the steel of excess quantity compared with the set steel tapping quantity and using the excess blown steel to the next blowing in order in the slagless operation by using the pretreated molten iron. CONSTITUTION:At the time of executing the less-slag operation or the slag-less operation in a converter by using the pretreated molten iron completed with dephosphorization and desulfurization, the blowing is executed in the converter so as to make the quantity to be blown 3-15t excess to the set steel tapping quantity. Successively, at the time of completing the blowing, the excess blown steel is allowed to remain in the furnace and scrap for the next heat is charged and blown steel is solidified, and this is used to the blowing at the next time, in order. Then, when oxygen content in the remaining steel in the furnace is high, deoxidizing agent of Si or Al, etc., corresponding to the measured oxygen content is charged to prevent generation of sudden boiling. By this method, the accurate steel tapping quantity is secured and also a cast slab with good quality is obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To recover slag having less phosphorus concn. and to enable reutilization as refining agent by separating and removing liquid phase slag having high phosphorus concn. at the time of being under condition, which is separatable into two phases of the liquid phase and solid phase during solidification of the molten slag. CONSTITUTION:During the solidification of the molten slag discharged from a steelmaking furnace in the slag pan, the phosphorus in the slag is shifted into the liquid phase from the solid phase. Therefore, at the time of being under condition of coexisting the liquid phase and the solid phase, the liquid phase slag condensing the phosphorus is discharged, separated and removed from the slag pan, and only the solid phase slag containing low phosphorus concn. and valuable component of manganese, etc., is recovered and this is reutilized as refining agent, such as slag making agent for converter, pre-treating agent for molten iron.
