    • PURPOSE:To reduce the clouding and rolling flaw of sheet surface at temper rolling of stainless steel sheet, etc., by providing a cleaning equipment between temper rolling stands in the continuous line having the temper rolling equipment consisting of plural stands in the downstream of an annealing furnace. CONSTITUTION:Because a cleaning equipment 2 is provided between temper rolling stands 1 at least, a cleanness of sheet surface is improved, as a result, the clouding, rolling flaw, etc., of sheet surface are prevented. When a coiling equipment is arrayed at out-side of the temper rolling equipment, it is effective to provide a cleaning equipment in front of each stand only. Also, when there is a rinse equipment, etc., of a pickling equipment in front of the temper rolling equipment and a distance between them is short, a cleaning equipment is provided in rear of each stand. Further, when this combination, that is, a coiling equipment is immediately at out-side of the temper rolling equipment and a rinse equipment etc., is arrayed at in-side of the pickling equipment, it is effective to provide a cleaning equipment between each stand.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of ignition in a sealing part by controlling the electrolytic conditions in electrolytic equipment so that the difference between the electrification potential of a steel strip in a furnace sealing part and the electrification potential of a sealant can be reduced. SOLUTION: Static electricity, caused by pushing and separation against and from a continuous steel strip 4 and friction, is generated at the surface of a roll and a sealant of a sealing device 3C of a bright annealing furnace 3. At this time, the sealant and the stainless steel strip 4 are respectively electrified, and an electrostatic energy is increased with the increase of the difference between the electrification potentials of both, and the gas leaking from the sealing device 3C becomes liable to ignite. Therefore, electrolytic conditions in electrolytic equipment 2 are set so that the electrification potential of the steel strip 4 approaches that of the sealant. As to electrolytic conditions, it is preferable to change current density, quantity of electricity, or electrolytic direction. Further, it is preferable to set so that the electrification comes on the plus side. Further, nylon is preferred as the sealant.
