The steel strip S is first subjected to anode electrolysis via an anode 8, and is next subjected to cathode electrolysis via a cathode 9 to melt oxidized coating film under reduction and furthermore to activate the surface, and, at this time, the situation that, after the molten salt components adhered to the steel strip S are melted away in the reaction cell 10, they penetrate into the reaction cell 11 and check the melting of the oxidized coating film of the steel strip S under reduction can be prevented, by which the purpose can be attained.

The atmospheric gas composed of the H2 gas and the N2 gas is supplied into the finish-annealing furnace 1 with an atmospheric gas supplying device 5. When the whiteness based on the signal from a whiteness meter 9 becomes lower than a prescribed value, an atmospheric gas concn. adjusting device 8 decides so that the H2 concn. becomes high in the reverse proportion with the detected value of the whiteness, and signals for controlling opening degrees of the flow rate adjusting valves 6, 7 for H2 gas and N2 gas, are changed so that the H2 concn. becomes the decided value.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the development of flaw and roughening on the surface of a finish product, in a producing method of a stainless steel sheet. SOLUTION: An annealing after cold-rolling is executed in the atmosphere containing the air of less quantity than the necessary min. quantity to the complete combustion of the combustion gas, and after removing scale produced in this annealing, a finish coldrolling is executed. In the case of executing the annealing under condition of less air quantity mixed in the combustion gas than the theoretical air quantity, oxidized scale having a spinel type crystal structure such as FeCr2 O4 or Fe3 O4 , is easily developed. Since the oxidized scale having the spinel type crystal structure is formed as thick-state, at the time of removing the scale, the scale, the flaw generated at the time of hot- rolling and coldrolling, is easily removed. The surface after removing the scale, is roughened, but the surface is recovered by executing the finishrolling, thereafter.

SOLUTION: The strip is passed through a heating zone 7 and a cooling zone 8 after adjusting with a steering roll 1 at the uppermost part of the bright annealing furnace so as to reduce tension deviation in the width direction of the strip. By this method, plane buckling phenomenon (canoeing phenomenon) developed with the comressive stress in the width direction on the way of cooling process, can be restrained. Further, the centering is executed with a steering roll 5 at the outlet side of the furnace after uniformizing the tension in the width direction of the strip with the uppermost rolls in the furnace. The meandering is easily corrected.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of ignition in a sealing part by controlling the electrolytic conditions in electrolytic equipment so that the difference between the electrification potential of a steel strip in a furnace sealing part and the electrification potential of a sealant can be reduced. SOLUTION: Static electricity, caused by pushing and separation against and from a continuous steel strip 4 and friction, is generated at the surface of a roll and a sealant of a sealing device 3C of a bright annealing furnace 3. At this time, the sealant and the stainless steel strip 4 are respectively electrified, and an electrostatic energy is increased with the increase of the difference between the electrification potentials of both, and the gas leaking from the sealing device 3C becomes liable to ignite. Therefore, electrolytic conditions in electrolytic equipment 2 are set so that the electrification potential of the steel strip 4 approaches that of the sealant. As to electrolytic conditions, it is preferable to change current density, quantity of electricity, or electrolytic direction. Further, it is preferable to set so that the electrification comes on the plus side. Further, nylon is preferred as the sealant.
