    • PURPOSE:To greatly reduce combustion sound by constructing the exhaust port in a burner of a gas hot water supplier or the like in such a structure that the flow speed of a combustion gas is reduced by providing pressure loss to a combustion gas in the exhaust port part. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust port (a) of a hot water supplier A has such a structure that a shielding part a-1 is formed at the lateral central part, auxiliary vent ports a-2 having a large number of small holes 1 are provided in the proximities of both sides of the shielding part a-1, and main vent port a-3 are opened on both left and right sides of each auxiliary vent port a-2. Consequently, in the hot water supplier A, a combustion gas concentrated at the central part of the outlet port of an exhaust chamber and discharged, is brought into collision with the shielding part a-1 at the central part of the exhaust port (a) to apply a back pressure against the upstream side thereof and disperse the same to the left and right parts. Further, a part of the combustion gas is discharged through small holes 1 of auxiliary vent ports a-2. The residual part of the combustion gas is collided with the combustion gas discharged through the ambient of the exhaust chamber outlet from the lateral direction to mutually offset energies to be discharged out of the main vent ports a-3.

    • PURPOSE:To elongate a distance of mixing of a fuel with primary air by providing the apparatus with a first mixing part for circulating a fuel and air in a lateral direction, a second mixing part for inverting the circulating direction of a mixing gas, and a pressure equalizing chamber for regulating the amount of a mixed gas supplied to each burner. CONSTITUTION:A mixed gas supply header 3 is provided within an air supply chamber 4, and a first mixing part 3a and a second mixing chamber 3b are formed from a left side wall to a right side wall of the air supply chamber 4 in a double, inside and outside, passage shape. One end of the first mixing part 3a formed by the inside passage is opened in a bellmouth shape on the left-side wall of the air supply chamber 4 to allow a bellmouth part 11 to face a distribution chamber 10. At the same time, another end thereof is opened in the vicinity of the right side wall, thereby communicating with the second mixing part 3b. Longitudinal central part of the upper surface of the second mixing part 3b is swollen and protruded upward over the full length to form a pressure equalizing chamber 3c. When a fuel gas is ejected through a fuel gas ejection nozzle 5, the fuel gas pulls a part of air into the bellmouth part 11, both the fuel gas and air flow together in the first mixing part 3a toward its end, and further flow into the second mixing part 3b and reversely flow. During this time, both the fuel gas and air are mixed excellently.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the vertical dimension of the combustion apparatus by laterally providing a header for supplying a mixed gas of a fuel and air, and positioning the inlet of the header in a distribution chamber communicating with a secondary air discharge port through spaces formed between respective burners and distributing primary air and secondary air. CONSTITUTION:A distribution chamber 10 is protruded outward and sidewise in the proximity of one side wall in the lateral direction of an air supply chamber 9. A mixed gas supply header 8 is internally provided in the air supply chamber 9, and the distribution chamber 10 is provided at its side wall with a blower 7 and a gas injection nozzle 6. A plurality of gas burners 1 are installed upward of the air supply chamber 9 at a suitable interval. Clearances formed between burners 1 constitute a secondary air passage 20, and its upper opening forms a secondary air discharge port 2. When a fuel gas is ejected toward a bellmouth 12 from a gas ejection nozzle 6, a part of air supplied from the blower 7 to distribution chamber 10 is pulled in, and the fuel gas and air are circulated within the mixed gas supply header 8 while being mixed, and are supplied to the gas burners 1 through a junction port 4 and then ejected through a burner port 1 to be burnt.
