    • PURPOSE:To provide a skin pass rolling device which can prevent unnecessary skin pass rolling liquid from circulating to the downstream side and the skin pass liquid from sticking on the surface of the steel plate by removing excess skin pass rolling liquid on the work roll surfaces and carrying out skin pass rolling through necessary minimum skin pass rolling liquid. CONSTITUTION:Injection equipments 1, 2 to inject skin pass liquid C are provided on each of the upper part of the upper side work roll D and the lower part of the lower side work roll E on the upstream side in the carrying direction of a steel plate. Suction devices 3, 4 to suck and remove the excess skin pass rolling liquid G on the surfaces of both work rolls D, E are provided between the respective injection equipments 1, 2 and the roll gap E. Air injection equipments 20, 21, 22 to splash and remove the skin pass rolling liquid C on the surfaces of a steel plate A and work rolls D, E are provided on the downstream side in the carrying direction of the steel plate A. Further, the suction pressure of suction apparatuses 3, 4 is made variable in the longitudinal direction of the work rolls D, and E.

    • PURPOSE:To perform sintering of a sintering ore and calcining of a pellet simultaneously, by charging the pellet on the bedding ore on a moving grate type sintering machine in specific layer thickness and laminating the raw ore to be sintered on the pellets, thereby making the layer of charged material thick in layer. CONSTITUTION:The pellets produced by adding limestone and carboneous materials to collected dust and finely graind ores and granulating the mixture to 5- 10 grain sizes with a granulator such as pelletizer are supplied into a pellet hopper 10. Bedding ores 12 are first dispensed from a bedding ore hopper 1 onto a moving grate type sintering machine and are laid thereon, then the pellets 14 dispensed from the hopper 10 are charged therein to 10-30% the total layer thickness. The raw ores 13 dispensed from a raw ore hopper 2 are laminated thereon. The air necessary for sintering is sucked from the lower part of pallets 11 by a main blower 8. The coke in the surface layers is fired by an ignition furnace 3, and sintering reaction progresses from the upper layer part to the lower layer part, whereby the sintering of the raw ores 13 and the calcining of the pellets 14 are accomplished simultaneously.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sufficient liquid draining-off effect by arranging a wiping- away device for rolling oil stuck to the surface of a roll and linking the action thereof to the action of a roll bending device. SOLUTION: As the wiping-away device, an air wiper nozzle 7 is arranged in the diagonal downward adjustment to an upper intermediate roll 2 in the inlet side of the rolling mill besides air wiper nozzles 6. The air wiper nozzle 7 injects the air in the direction (the diagonal downward direction) opposite to the rising direction of the rolling oil which is transferred from work rolls 1 to intermediate rolls 2 and raised and the rolling oil is blown off to both end sides of the rolls and wiped away and removed. The air wiper nozzle 7 is controlled by an air wiper control part 10 so as to work only when a roll bender force becomes a fixed value or higher (e.g., the bender force of the intermediate roll 2 becomes >=8ton/roll). By this method, it can be prevented that the rolling oil flows out to the rolling mill outlet side and spattered on a sheet surface.
