    • PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy in slab discharging temp. by correcting the target discharging temp. of the slab according to the deviation between the estimated discharging temp. determined from the temp. on the discharging side and the predicted discharging temp. value obtd. by calculation from the temp. of the slab in a furnace. CONSTITUTION:The slab temp. detected with a thermometer 5 on a discharging side is inputted to an arithmetic means 13 for discharging temp., by which the estimated discharging temp. value is calculated. This value and the predicted discharging temp. value calculated by an arithmetic means 10 for the temp. of the slab in a furnace are compared by a correcting means 14 for the target discharging temp. and the deviation thereof is obtd. The correcting amt. of the target discharging temp. of the slab in the furnace is calculated according to the deviation. An arithmetic means 11 for the set furnace temp. adds the correcting amt. to the predetermined target discharging temp. and the succeeding set furnace temp. value is calculated by using an adding means 15 in accordance with the fresh target discharging temp. The value is outputted to a control means 8 for the furnace temp. by which a burner 9 is controlled. The operation is carried out at every passage of the slab through the thermometer 5.

    • PURPOSE:To economize energy by setting furnace temp. according to the calculated result of the future furnace temp. in the period when a material to be heated stays in the furnace until said material is ejected therefrom based on the present temp. and intended ejection time of the material and setting adequately the future furnace temp. when the slab entailing limitation in heating exists in the same control zone in the continuous heating furnace. CONSTITUTION:An ejection signal of a slab is applied as a track signal G to an arithmetic unit 11 for ejection pitch and an arithmetic unit 12 for slab temp. The unit 11 calculates the ejection pitch of the entire slab according to the kind and required time of the post stage and the unit 12 calculates the present temp. of the entire slab based on the detected furnace temp. and the residence time of each slag in the furnace. An arithmetic unit 13 for future furnace temp. determines the furture furnace temp. in the period when the slab near the ejection port stays in the ejection port on the bases of the signals from the units 11 and 12. Said unit determines further the future furnace temp. in the period when the slab stays in the ejection port in future from the present temp., target ejection temp. and ejection temp. of the slab S1. The future furnace temp. in the period when the slab S2 stays in the furnace in the above- described position is determined by the intended ejection time of the slabs S1, S2 and thereafter the future furnace temp. of the slabs is similarly determined.
