摘要： PURPOSE:To easily attach a refractory block to a casing in a uniformly compressed state by aligning a mounting bolt protruding sidewisely of the block with the mounting hole of the casing, inserting it, and securing the block thereto. CONSTITUTION:A refractory block 4 of laminated blankets 3 made of ceramic fiber is secured to be stacked on a casing 2 made of a steel plate of a furnace wall to cover the periphery of a furnace. Mounting holes 5 for inserting bolts are opened at a predetermined interval at the casing 2, and the block 4 is secured to a predetermined position. The interval of the holes 5 is narrower at 5-15mm than the lateral and longitudinal sizes of the block 4 to be mounted. The block 4 is formed by inserting a supporting rod 7 made of a stainless steel material into the blanket 3 and laminating it. The center of the rod 7 is rigidly held by internally mounting a supporting rod holding material 8 made of a heat resistant steel plate at the center of the block 4, a mounting bolt 9 is secured to the center of the material 8 to protrude at a predetermined distance on the side face of the block 4, and inserted to the hole 5 of the casing 2 to be secured.

摘要： PURPOSE:To quickly and accurately detect flowing-out of slag by blowing inert gas along flow of molten metal flowing down in a nozzle at the time of allowing the molten metal to flow down from an upper vessel to a lower vessel. CONSTITUTION:At the time of allowing the molten metal (e) in a ladle 1 to flow down into a tundish 2 through the nozzle 3, the molten metal (e) is allowed to flow down under condition of filling up the molten metal (e) to lower part of opening of a sliding plate 3b, and after that, at interval between the above level and a submerged part in a long nozzle 3e into the tundish 2, the molten metal (e) is caused to flow down under uncontact condition with inner face of the nozzle 3. At the time of blowing the inert gas into this nozzle 3 along the flowing-down direction of molten metal (e), by sucking at the time of flowing down the molten metal (e), flow rate of the gas is maintained to the stable condition. However, when slag S passes through the nozzle 3, suction effect is reduced with difference of sp. gr. between sp.grs. of the molten metal (e) and the slag S. Therefore, by detecting lowering of the flow rate of blowing gas, the flowing-out of slag S is grasped and the flowing-out of slag into the tundish 2 is quickly avoided.

When a delivery command is generated by an instruction from a microcomputer 42, the tank 2 is pressurized, a shut-off valve 8 is opened, a predetermined material is gas-transported to an intermediate tank 14 via a transport tube 12, and weighed by a load cell 22. After a predetermined quantity of material is weighed by the cell 22 through a shut-off valve 24 by gravity dropping from the tank 14, it is cast in a mixer 18. In the mixer, suitable amount of water is added from a water tank 16 through a shut-off valve 26, kneaded, and fed to a space between a vessel 30 and a framework 34 through a conveyor 32.

CONSTITUTION:A material for irregular refractory is received into the specified address of a container warehouse 4 by a transfer device 6 under a condition that the material is sealed in a container 2 based on a command from a microcomputer 38. The transfer device 6 takes a predetermined container 2 out based on a material charging command from the microcomputer 38 and transfers the container 2 to a sealed type receiving table 10. The kneaded material is poured into a section to be lined through a traversing chute 24 and is made uniform by means of a shaking device 36. The height of the poured form body 32 is measured by a height measuring device 34 and the measured value is inputted into the microcomputer 38.

The zirconia-graphite layer 16 has low wettability with the deoxidized material in the molten steel, and since stickiness and piling thereof to the wall face in the inner hole 14 are prevented, the nozzle clogging is not developed for a long period.
