摘要： PURPOSE: To enable the treatment of various kinds of materials to be sterilized by effectively using latent heat by providing a continuous mixing-type sterilizer with two systems of saturated steam and superheated steam, enabling the use of either saturated steam or superheated steam or the both, and accordingly making the state of sterilization, etc., in the sterilizing chamber changeable. CONSTITUTION: This steam sterilizer consists of a horizontal cylindrical container having an inlet port for supplying a material to be sterilized at one end and an outlet port for discharging the sterilized material at the other end. In the horizontal cylindrical container, a rotating stirrer-shaft 9 provided with stirring blades are placed through from the inlet port to the outlet port. The stirrer-shaft 9 is supported at the inlet port side and inclined downward toward the outlet port in an adjustable manner. A great number of nozzles common to the superheated steam system and the saturated steam system are attached and opened at a fixed cover. A superheated steam-supplying tube and a saturated steam-supplying tube are branched from the common nozzles and each of the tubes is provided with a steam adjusting valve. Partition boards surrounding the common nozzles and air cells attached on the partition boards are located in the inside of an openable lid covering the upper half of the horizontal cylindrical container. Air discharging holes are opened at the positions facing to nozzles on the openable lid.

摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent waterdrops from dripping onto a transfer means, by forming the ceiling of a steam chamber as an arc-shaped curved surface, the steam chamber having a steam nozzle toward the transfer means provided between a supply port and an outlet. CONSTITUTION: In the upper portion of a nearly rectangular parallelepiped frame, a pair of lateral crosspieces are extended toward an outlet in an uphill grade, and sprockets 5 attached to both sides of the crosspieces are provided with transfer means such as a metal or synthetic resin net. A steam chamber covered with a heat insulating material over its side walls 11, 11 and the bottom surface is provided so as to surround the transfer means, while to one side wall 11 a cover 14 is attached with a hinge 13 or the like, and inside the cover 14, a ceiling 15 having an arc-shaped curved surface made of a heat insulating material is formed. On the outlet side of the ceiling 15, a steam outlet is provided through a damper, while on both side surfaces 11, 11 of the steam chamber, troughs 21, 21 for receiving waterdrops are provided. In such a dehydrating apparatus, the steam from a boiler is supplied to the steam chamber through a gas-water separator and a pipe 23, so that it is utilized to dry mushrooms and the like.
