    • PURPOSE:To reduce the dimension of a shaft coupling and abviate the necessity of disassembly length in the axial direction by attaching a driving shaft and a driven shaft each other, having a torque transmission member interposed therebetween, and tightening the protruded tapered parts formed on the outer peripheral part at the shaft edge by a divided coupling. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft 1 and a driven shaft 2 are attached, having a plurality of radial pins 20 interposed in the radial direction as torque transmission members therebetween. Each tapered part 1c, 2c which thickens towards each edge part 1b, 2b of each shaft edge part is formed on the outer peripheral part at the edge of the shaft, and is formed couplings, 21a, 21c which form a recess in the inner peripheral part and are divided into two parts by a surface along the axial direction are fitted over the tapered parts 1c and 2c in the outer peripheral part at the mountain-shaped edge of the shaft. A radial pin 20 transmits a torque, and the couplings 21a and 21b mainly receive thrust portion. The load applied onto a bolt 13 can be reduced, and each dimension of the couplings 21a and 21b can be reduced. Engagement and disengagement of the shafts 1 and 2 can be excuted by tightening and loosening the bolt 13, and taking account of the disassembly length in the axial direction is neglected.

    • PURPOSE:To dispense with the manufacturing of a tapered part and facilitate assembly work, by providing torque-transmitting members between the end faces of shafts and coupling them to each other with a double-screw nut which is screw-engaged with the ends of the shafts, differs in the pitch and diameter of the screws on the shafts and transmits the thrust load. CONSTITUTION:Radial pins 11 for transmitting torque are fitted in fitting portions 10 on the end faces of a driving shaft 1 and a driven shaft 2. Screws 20, 21 are provided on the peripheral parts of the shafts 1, 2. A double-screw nut 22 is engaged with the screws 20, 21 to couple the shafts 1, 2 to each other. The screws of the nut 22 for the shafts 1, 2 have the same direction but differ in the diameter and pitch, so that one shaft is moved into contact with the other when the nut 22 is rotated in assembly work. The shafts 1, 2 are thus coupled to each other by rotating the nut 22 as a prescribed clearance is set between the shafts and they are kept from rotating.
