摘要： PURPOSE:To automatically and efficiently remove a foreign matter contained in the liquid to be coated by setting the depth of the same on a screen net at the specified value and comparing the value detected by a noncontact type distance sensor with this reference value and controlling the rotating speed of a vibrating driving motor on the basis of the comparison data. CONSTITUTION:A wet type vibrating screen 3 of this invention is provided to the midway part of a pipeline so as to treat the excess liquid to be coated which is returned from a color pan 2 after coating treatment of a sheet 1. A pipeline connected to the color pan of a coating device 6 is provided to the top rim 5 of a vibration vessel 4. Further, a cover body is not provided and an ultrasonic wave distance sensor described hereunder is provided to a supporter 9 in the upper part of the top rim so that it is equipped to the position of about 1m on the screen net 8. The ultrasonic wave distance sensor is a noncontact type distance sensor 7 generating an optical or electron signal. The depth of liquid is raised to the set value by utilizing the relation of frequency and vibrating velocity and controlling the rotating velocity of a vibrating driving motor giving vibration to the net by a rotating velocity controlling means and reducing vibration frequency. Thus, troubles due to excess supply of the liquid to be coated into the vibration vessel, e.g. overflowing, flowing away and flying, on the net, of the liquid can be prevented from occurring.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform fine pulverization with good efficiency by forming a flow passing through a gap between a rotating disc and the inner wall from the introducing side, a flow reaching the discharging side from an opening of the disc and a flow returning from another opening of the disc to the introducing side to the mixture in a vessel. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of a fluid dispersion of a matter to be pulverized and pulverizing media introduced in a cylindrical vessel 1 from an introducing opening 7 is mixed and stirred by means of a rotating disc 2 to perform size reduction treatment and the dispersion and media after size reduction are separated by means of a screen 8 provided on the discharging side. At least one disc openings of which are worked for forming a flow passing through a gap between the apex part of the disc 2 and the inner wall of the vessel from the introducing side to the discharging side, a flow passing through the opening 3 of the disc from the introducing side to the discharging side and a flow returning through the opening 4 of the disc 2 from the discharging side to the introducing side is provided on a driving shaft 5. As the result, an efficient pulverization can be performed by using a few number of sand mills.

The diameter of the opening part of a separation mechanism part separating the aqueous dispersion and grinding media in each of the sand mills is pref. 3/5-2/5 the diameter of the grinding media. The aqueous dispersion containing the fine particles of pulverized org. solid substances is applied to a support and dried to form a thermal recording material.

摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently prepare an aqueous microdispersion within a short time by rotating discs through a drive shaft within a cylindrical vessel and providing parallel female screws to the inner surface of the vessel. CONSTITUTION:Discs 7 are rotated through a drive shaft 4 within a cylindrical vessel 2 and the axial line of the vessel 2 is made freely rotatable while media and a material to be pulverized are strongly stirred. Parallel female screws 11 are provided to the inner surface of the vessel 2. When an aqueous dispersion of solid matter is treated using this hermetically closed type wet pulverizing apparatus, the starting of a stirring shaft can smoothly be performed and the clogging of a media dispersing mechanism is also eliminated and the generation of heat of a grinder can be suppressed low and extremely stable operation becomes possible and a pulverized solution can efficiently be obtained.

CONSTITUTION:A dispersing liq. for dispersing the water content of an org. solid substance such as pigment, dye and developer is prepared which has a solid content concn. of 38-60wt.% and a viscosity number of at most 0.5 poise measured by using Hercules high shear viscosimeter (4770RPM/BobE). This water dispersing liq. is pretreated by a sandmill into a size of 10-1mum in an average particle diameter using the generally practiced media of 1-2mm diameter. Such water dispersing liq. is further pulverized by the sandmill filled with the media having a smaller particle diameter of at most 0.7mm in order to improve the pulverizing efficiency to such an extent as to permit the water dispersing liq. of the org. solid substance pulverized to an average particle diameter of 0.8-0.4mum to be obtained in a short time and uniformly.

Consequently, solid is efficiently pulverized with a small number of sand mills.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain in high efficiency a high-gloss cast coated paper improved in straightness by putting a coated paper to pressure contact on the surface of a hot drum followed by drying the paper to immobilize the coating layer thereon and then imparting the back surface of the paper with water. CONSTITUTION:A base paper in area weight is provided with a coating layer comprising pigment and adhesive, and the resulting paper is put to pressure contact on the surface of a hot drum and dried to immobilize the coating layer. Thence, at a position after such immobilization, the back surface of the coated paper is imparted with water. The coated layer in a moistened state is then put to pressure contact on the specular surface of a hot drum and dried to make a high-gloss finishing, thus obtaining the objective cast coated paper.
