    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake capable of carrying out two kinds of braking including in the longitudinal direction and in the lateral direction on a wheel with rotors in the circumference of which a plurality of the rotors are arranged. SOLUTION: A plural number of the rotors 10 rotating around an axis of rotation orthogonal with the radial direction around an axis 1 as its center as their center are furnished in the circumference of the wheel 9 so as to rotate in the orthogonal direction against the rectilinear direction of the wheel. Each of the rotors 10 is formed in a shape to form a circular arc of a wheel outer peripheral circle by a peripheral surface by reducing a diameter of its head end part smaller than a diameter of a base end part. The brake is furnished with a braking plate 30 free to slide to a braking position on the upper side or the lower side along a support frame 5 of the axis 1 from a non-braking position positioned between the rotors 10 on the upper side or the lower side of the axis 1 and to make contact with a peripheral surface of the rotor 10 at this braking position and a brake handle 39 to selectively slide this braking plate to the braking position on the upper side or the lower side. The braking plate 30 makes contact with the peripheral surface while sagging in the separating direction in accordance with sliding.

    • PURPOSE:To accomplish a fastening device with a visual sensor which is simple in its structure and reduces the work time by monitoring a work portion from above in the elevating path of a fastening tool. CONSTITUTION:Using a mirror 16 positioned in a designated position by a robot arm, the reflection of the periphery of a bolt 20 is observed and an image thereof is let inside on a side camera device 13. An attached processing portion of the device 13 generates data on difference in position of the bolt 20 with respect to the reference position of the robot arm to teach the robot. Accordingly, by the correcting operation of the robot arm, the fastening device 11 is positioned above the center position of the bolt 20, and then lowered. At that time, a pad 16c is pressed by a nut 18 and subsequently by the tool 11 itself to displace the mirror 16 to the side of the camera device 13. Secondly, by rotation of the tool 11, a fastening work is conducted, and after the completion of the work, the tool is raised to its original position. At this time, a spring seat 16b is turned to the horizontal portion 17d of an angle 17a and pressed thereto by a spring 15 to return the mirror 16 to its normal oblique position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair with a vertically moving function capable of shortening a wheel base in association with rising of a seat. SOLUTION: This wheelchair with the vertically moving function comprises a tilting-back rod 10 rotatably coupled at its lower end to a front wheel section, a tilting-forth rod 11 rotatably coupled at its lower end to a rear wheel section and pivotally secured to the rod 10 across the rod 10 at an intermediate position, a seat 5 pivotally secured to the upper end of the rod 11, and a link rod 15 pivotally secured at its upper end to a backrest 6 and pivotally secured at its lower end to the upper end of the rod 10. The pivotally securing position and the length of the rod 15 are set to enable holding of the seat 5 in a horizontal state with respect to a change of a rods opening angle between the rod 10 and rod 11. The rod 15 is rotated with respect to the rod 10 in response to the change of the rods opening angle to hold the seat 5 in the horizontal state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg support for a wheelchair settable only by a rotating operation from an upper stand-by position into a service position along the side part of a wheelchair body. SOLUTION: The base end parts of arms 12 are respectively fastened to both side front end parts of the body rotatably around an axis inclined upward to the inside of the body toward the front of the body so that the arm 12 is rotated along the side part of the body from the stand-by position for upward movement into the service position for frontward movement. In the state of the arm 12 being in the stand-by position, a support body 14 of plate shape is pivotally supported to the tip part of the arm 12 rotatably around a longitudinal axis so as to be positioned on the front side of the arm 12. A stopper is provided for restraining the arm 12 rotated into the service position from the stand-by position, to function as a leg support 10. The leg support 10 restrains the leg part placed on a footrest 3 in a seated state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with an upright seat which enables a user to make movements such as to sit on or to stand up smoothly by keeping a big distance between a seat and a desk when the seat is turned around, and has the seat which turns around easily. SOLUTION: A chair with an upright seat is made up of a post 2 and a seat 5, which is joined to the post 2 in a manner that the seat 5 can rotate to be in a horizontal state, or a state for sitting, and to be in a vertical state, or an upright position. An arm 7 is joined to a bracket 4 jutting forward from the post 2 and to an attaching part 6 located on the back of the seat 5 as the arm 7 can rotate at the both joints. The arm 7 has its front end mounted to the attaching part 6 located on the seat 5 as a support for rotation and has its back end mounted to the bracket 4 as a support for rotation.
